So I got this new Janty Neo Puromizer set just two days ago. I was using a silver set since February and their battery lives were reduced quite significant now that i decided to get a new set.

This was how it went. I was vaping as usual then I put the unit on the table. Then i noticed smoke was still coming out of the atomizer. The battery blinked continuously and stop working (I guess this is a safety feature). So I unattached the atomizer/puromizer with the battery; the atomizer was burning hot while i was doing so. I clicked on the manual button and no response so i repeatedly clicked and the light blinked three times (had no idea what that meant). I put the charger unit to the battery, hoping I could reset the dam chip inside. Then I noticed the light on the charger was on but the charger was unplugged from the power outlet. I made a conclusion that my battery still release energy no matter if the button is pressed or not.

I do not have the ball to play with the not-working-battery again, that thing can blow up. And I do want to keep me face although I may not like it very much.

This black set is from France, even if Janty offers me to return it, the shipping cost would just go nutz. While at home, I can always use my mods to vape but I do need this set working to stealth operation at work. Now I only have 1 battery to play with and its time is rather short so i need two working battery minimal. And just having to pay for an extra battery to replace a two day new battery is ... making me feel a bit cheated.

Anyone out-there with brilliant mind knows any better would give me suggestion? Sorry for the wall of texts.

I can't comment on that particular make/model. If a battery is being flaky, best not to use it.. like you said. So good move.

As a general rule, sometimes juice gets into the e-cig buttons and shorts them out. They can dry out over time, but IDK if I'd risk it.

You have mods as backups so it's not too urgent. Get some new batteries. Find a B&M shop near you in CA if you're in a pinch. I'd suggest local or at least USA based sources, or get extra so you don't have to worry about over-seas shipping delays.
