Do I have to register as a supplier just because I work at a kiosk? Im not the boss, and I keep the business name out of posts. I'm not wanting to advertise, I will leave that to my boss, It's just hard not to mention what I do sometimes. I have no intentions of ever mentioning the brand name, etc. I just want to be an 'average joe', that happens to be a salesman at the local mall.

Sorry I did not email someone, I'm at work, and I cant email from here. Also, I'm new, so this looked like the best place to post my question.

Dont want to upset anyone, just do not want to get in trouble either...

Yeah, I'm here for information, mostly. I was a customer of my boss before I was an employee for him, and his brand is the first PV I have used. Basically, I have been selling them for 8 weeks and using them for 10 and I'm still pretty fresh in this whole thing and eager to sponge up all the knowledge I can about PV's and everything related to them. I was reading up on the PG component of cartos here the other day, for example. It's just hard not to mention my job at all. I understand concern though, I just do not want to get banned or something extreme due to a misunderstanding.

If you seem like you are pushing a brand we dislike for being a ripoff, etc, your messages will be pulled by a mod.

Most mall brands and many professional-looking web brands are ripoffs in one way or another. Either ridiculously priced parts (like $50 for a battery that should cost $15 or carts that cost 30-100% more than they should). Some are less of a rip pricewise but sell weak models or models that have little support from the reasonably priced parts/supplies vendors. And some aim to make carts or cartos as hard or confusing to refill as possible. In addition many lie about how long a carto lasts. So there is little love here for brands like that.

If you just have questions it should be fine.

Welcome!

I got you by search engine. If you are the same "agentshags" I am looking for, you have said you have tons of EASWARAN books. I am looking for The Bhagavad Gita translated by him. I will really very very greatly appreciate it if you could upload it. THANKS. or else please forgive the interruption.

Seems like most of them (especially the "mall kiosk" brands) do ALL FOUR:

Over-priced, inferior products with confusing parts or no instruction and deceptive claims. We always can hope that it at least gets smokers to investigate e-cigs further and end up here, but I think it's more often that people buy them and decide that it's not convenient or cost effective to vape.

Too bad...

What is a good price for a batt or a carto. I know we probably ask more than we should, but I just sell them, not make the prices. Curious to see what kind of markup we have here, as I don't really know.

battery: $10
atomizer: $5-$10
cartridge: $2-$3 for a 5pack

or.. (because you don't need both cartos and atomizer/carts)
cartomizer: $8 for a 5pack

total kit (2 batts, 2 atomizers, 5 pre-filled carts, a charger): $30-$40

Is that pretty universal across different models? We have 2 piece, I believe they are 808d compatible.

Welcome to the forum. Asking this question is commendable as is learning all you can to properly inform others.

Having said that, according to number 16 of the ECF rules you would be considered a supplier:

16. Suppliers (that is, anyone with any commercial connection with PVs / ecigarettes of any form whatsoever) must abide by our Suppliers Rules. A start page is here:

I think price varies, depending on the type, supplier.

I've worked in places that sold overpriced items, or things I wouldn't buy myself. I won't hold it against you! LOL

The thing of it is, that's the first time some people encounter ecigs. I have so many people I tell about pv's and they all tell me the same thing- they're too expensive! So they never try them. I never would have myself if I didn't accidently find this board.

I can understand the generalities applied, but my experience was quite different and I dont think it's fair to judge all by the same token.

I bought my first PV at the mall and it was a good deal, a fair deal and the equipment was not a ripoff or subpar.

I just think coverall statements like this are unfair.
