Hello Everyone!

It’s been about 3 weeks since I got my Vapor King and I thought I would post some thoughts.

I first heard about electronic cigarettes when I was walking through my local mall and I saw the Smoke Everywhere product. It’s easy to say that I was intrigued. When I got home I decided to do some research on these e-cigs. I read around a few different places, found this forum and dug in. The first e-cig I decided on was of course the Smoking Everywhere product. My mind was soon changed when I found the Blu cig. I thought it was the end all be all, I mean really, a blue glowing tip, portable charging case that was shaped like a pack of analog cigarettes and cartridges that lasted for 6 or so analog cigarettes. What more could I ask for? Well, luckily for me I am not an impulse buyer and I decided to look at this forum for some opinions on the Blu. Needless to say, after about 10 minutes of reading, it was obvious that the Blu was not a well regarded product. Sure a lot of people had one and most enjoyed it but those same people went on to purchase other personal vapors... Well, that wouldn't do for me, no sir! I wanted the final solution. I didn't want to buy 10 different PVs. I am by no means a rich man and this was going to be a large purchase for me.

Time for more research...

Next I found out about different models, 510, 901, 801, 402, a whole bunch of numbers that meant nothing to me. I wanted a name! I also wanted more information about these numbers. What did they look like? How much did they cost? How much and how long did the cartridges last? When searching for these answers I found out about dripping and filling... I didn't want that. I wanted easy; I wanted to screw something on a battery and smoke (yes, that’s the term I was using at that time). Dripping and filling was way too big of a hassle and almost turned me away from electronic cigarettes.

I persevered, I did more research and that’s when I came upon the Vapor4Life product, the Vapor King. I read and read then read and read some more. I couldn't stop reading. This VK looked like the answer to all my questions! It was a 2 piece model that you could throw away the 'cartomizor' after it was done. Granted, some refilled but it wasn't a requirement. After about 1 month of reading these forums I decided to fork out the money and buy a Vapor King Ultimate Ultimatum kit.

I was giddy like a school girl for the next 4 days until I pulled the package out of the mail. Then I was even giddier. :p I ordered a bunch of 36mg strength cartomizors and a bottle of 36 mg menthol Nobacco juice from Steve at V4L. When I started 'vaping' I was really, really depressed. I couldn't produce any vapor and was sick with nicotine poisoning for 2 days. The 36 mg strength was waaaaaayyyy too much. I couldn't handle it. Luckily I had also ordered a 5 pack of Mboro Cartomizors in 18 mg strength (the highest available at the time). This 5 pack got me through an entire week until I could place my next order (remember, not rich). I ordered 3 boxes of 11 mg cartomizors, Nuport, Cinnamon and Peach Cobbler. I also ordered a 0 mg strength bottle of Menthol Nobacco juice so that I could 'cut' my 36 mg bottle (Thanks to posters here for the idea!!). I got my order and dove in. I was happy as a pig in mud for about 3 hours. Then I realized I couldn't stand the fruity Cinnamon, the Nuport was too medicinal tasting and the Peach Cobbler tasted kinda burnt (and not the cartomizor is dry burnt, but like burnt pie crust). Also, instead of 0 mg Menthol I was shipped 11 mg (no cutting required hehe). :)

Well CRAP! I was back to the beginning. I still couldn't vape. I was out of my 18 mg Mboro cartomizors. But wait... I had some juice and 5 empty Mboro cartomizors. Well I watched some videos and refilled my 5 cartomizors. You know what? It was simple, took me all of 10 minutes to shape a paper clip, fill and recap all 5. I was ready to vape now.

Fast forward 2 weeks and I have only smoked 1 analog a day (my nightly treat/torture for myself) and it was time to make another order. I decided to get a pack of Menthol cartomizors so I could refill those. I also ordered a Grape pack, a Chocolate pack and a 0 mg bottle of Menthol Nobacco Juice. I just got my order today and let me tell you, those flavors are amazing!!!!

In addition to all the paid for items I have always received some sort of extra free goodies, from a manual pass-through to juice and cartomizors. Today I received Almond Joy for free and it is absolutely amazing. Tastes just like eating the candy.

I couldn't be any happier with V4L, my Vapor King or Steve. The product is fantastic and the service even better. I smoked analog cigarettes for 16 years or so have cut down to 1 a day. I only have 4 more analog cigarettes and then I am done for good. The 1 a day I smoke now is to remind me how disgusting they are (and they are disgusting). I no longer stink, have smoke breath or have to rush to the gas station to satisfy my addiction.

I want to thank everyone from these forums (especially JenJen :)). You have all been great with advice for a newbie. You have also been calm and patient with answering mine and others' questions. I also want to thank V4L and Steve for both the product and the service.

From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU!

Great story. Really inspires us newbies to keep at it! My friend/co-worker and I both agree that one of the most irritating habits with smoking is running to the gas station everyday and now we don't even go outside! We went outside a couple times and started vaping at work, but then we were like, umm .. why are we outside? Hahah

I am so glad you found your sweet spot! And glad that all of us were able to help you through the rough spots! This forum is by far the most supportive and helpful forum that I have ever particiated in. It is the trickle down effect from Steve and Mark I think - everyone just wants to pass it on! ;)

I definitely agree! Not only is their product great, IMO, but their customer service is top notch. To me, a great product coupled with great service gets my loyalty, and I will gladly spread the word and try to send as many people to V4L as I can!

SNM, feel free to troll the forums and ask questions - everybody here is very friendly and helpful. Take your time and try to find the right product for your liking, whether it's the Vapor King or some other tool - if it gets you off smoking analogs, I don't think anyone here would complain about that!

If you don't like harsh, be sure to get varying nic levels. I find that the 8mg's don't have much of a throat hit - just nice flavor! The higher the nic level, the more likely it is to be harsh. I like a bit of a throat hit, so I use the 18s during the day, and the 0 - 8mg at night. You just need to find your sweet spot.

Good luck with whatever you end up choosing! ;)

Hello SNM,

I feel your pain haha. I would go to youtube and search for GrimmGreen and MoobyGhost. Grimm has done a lot of reviews and all of good info. He did a review on the Nebula which is the same model type as the Vapor King. I chose the VK over the Nebula because of the reviews on this forum that talk about Steve at V4L's service and because of the amount of flavors the VK has available. MoobyGhost does a review on the VK itself (in addition to other reviews).

When you say harsh do you mean on your throat/lungs or flavor? What strength did you get? Also what type of analog cigarettes do you smoke and how many per day? I smoked 1 pack a day of Newports and Marlboro Menthol Lights for the majority of my 16 years. Regardless I would recommend getting a few different strengths so that you can figure out what works best for you. I personally tried the 36 mg (way to strong), the 24 mg (also way to strong) and the 18 mg (close but just a little strong) before getting the 11 mg. The 11 mg is perfect for me. From what I understand the way the strength of the cartomizors/juice works is the mg # is how much nicotine is in each ml (milliliter). So 1 ml of 11mg juice is the equivalent of 22 1/2 mg cigarettes. So if your analog cigarettes are 1/2 mg each and you vape 1 ml each day you will be set. :)

I have also tried a few different flavors and so far the Mboro (Cowboy now) and the Menthol are good for all day vapes. The Grape, Chocolate and Almond Joy are good treats. I personally haven't much cared for the fruity ones (except for Grape) but I will try all before I make my final decision.

One last thing about the Vapor King and Vapor4Life that can't be stressed enough is the service you receive. Steve and Mark are amazing; they truly care about you as a customer. Their warranty is outstanding, I live in AZ and I receive my product 3 days from ordering (Thursday morning and it's here on Saturday). If you have any problems, tell them. Steve's heart is set on keeping us happy and SMILIN :D. Also if you order from them, check out this forum section for coupons. Try Smilin20 and Smilin for a discount. :)

Please, ask any questions on these boards you might have, the people are awesome and want to help.

Big congratulations on quitting the analogs!! I echo the other comments -- get a variety of flavors and strengths, and you won't ever miss the analogs ... I promise.

I was a 2-pack/day smoker for over 38 years. If I can do this, anyone can. And you've already done it, so now all you need is that perfect strength and flavor. :D
