My Kanger EVOD eGo Full Kit - Vaping Me arrived today! It was pleasantly easy to set up and I'm loving it! The Orange Dreamsicle 24mg ejuice is a little bit harsh so I'm assuming it's probably mostly PG. Tomorrow I should get five bottles of 32mg 70%VG/30% Distilled H20. I was coughing a bit at first but figured out the inhalation mechanism and am not coughing anymore - it's a slightly different type of inhalation than with smoke (I hold it in my mouth longer to cool it off before sucking it down). I had to vape constantly for about twenty minutes to get fully satisfied and I couldn't achieve sickness even though I tried (just to get an idea for the threshold). I still have a slight urge to light up, but it's psychological, not nicotine based. When I switched from cigs to Blu's way back when, I recall that it only took about three days to get over the desire to light up. I'm selling the rest of my carton to friends. So anyway, I have a few questions...

How do you know when to replace the coil?
How do you clean out the inside before putting a new flavor in?
How often should it be cleaned?
How long do the coils last?
How do you clean the coil to make it last longer (as some people have mentioned)?

And, I think that's it for questions. Overall I'm totally satisfied and really happy with everything - the dreamsicle flavor isn't my favorite, but hey, it's nicotine and that's really all that matters to me, lol. Thank you thank you THANK YOU to everyone who helped me figure out what to buy and where to shop over the last week, and thank you to the management of this site for making this place exist - without it, I'd still be outside puffing on Pall Malls right now <3

How do you know when to replace the coil?
When you start having to pull really hard and not getting much vapour, it's probably time.
How do you clean out the inside before putting a new flavor in?
Just wash it under a warm tap and blow through it to get all the water out. Towel dry.
How often should it be cleaned?
Generally just when changing flavours.
How long do the coils last?
Somewhere around 4 weeks depending on use.
How do you clean the coil to make it last longer (as some people have mentioned)?
This fellow shows you how, though I haven't tried it myself....

And welcome to what will be a strange and sometimes confusing ride. I give it a week before you do the juice drop thing.

Replacement of coils has a lot of variables. Type of juice, nic level, applied voltage, frequency of use.

You will know when flavor drops off or tastes burnt and vapor production drops off.

You can clean it with just tap water if you want. Some juices have a tendency to leave a stronger essence in the tank so you may need to clean more vigorously or use alcohol in this case.

Frequency of cleaning is up to you-as needed. Some do it after every tank. Some will go 5 or more. One of the things you really want to keep clean is the inside of the mouth piece. Residue will build up inside of it and it can be a major flavor killer. Even if it is from the same juice you are vaping at the time.
I use a Q tip for this.

You rinse off the coil head in water too. Some will soak it in alcohol too.
YouTube vids on dry burning your coils as this can help as well. But dont go too crazy on dry burning as these coils are made with very thin wire so they cant take too much abuse.

All in all I think you can gather why most of us have at least a couple of tanks as it just makes life easier for using different flavors.

But congrats on the switch and keep at it!
