I just received my first upgrade..a Kgo a few days ago.. WOW! I'm thoroughly enjoying the vape the looks...everything. I do have a couple of questions.

I know I have to press the button 5 times to actually start to vape. I did that and it worked fine. But I haven't had to do that since then. At what point does the battery shut down? Is there a way to shut it off?

Second..well this isn't a question more of a comment...those cartomizers are huge! I'm dripping liquid in them..dripping dripping...20 drop..still dripping...30 drops...still dripping. Finally the top started looking like a slushy..wow! I have to start mixing the juices I have to use it..vanilla cappuccino, Caramel cappuccion, my own DIY bavarian creme...anything to keep using it until the cartomizer is used up. It's working quite well actually.

Also, how long does a charged battery hold it's charge? I'm just curious. I'm already planning to buy another kit as a backup. I still have my safe cigs as the back up back up..I just ordered 6 more batteries and I have about 25 cartomizers for it.

Thanks for any help you can give me. I hope I have the right forum.

Hi Lightseeker.. I have the kGo too and love the thing. The 5 click thing is a shut off safety feature. Click 5 times fast and it shuts off so it doesn't auto fire in your pocket. Click 5 times again and it turns on, and as long as it's on you just push the button and vape like any other manual battery and it won't shut off again until you do the 5 click thing again. I'm a pretty heavy vaper and I'm getting more than a day out of these batts.. I can see this thing lasting for several days for a light vaper.. What color did you get?? Mine is a lovely burgundy color and I've got some of those xxl cartos on order,, hope this helps ya!

Oh yes..that is very helpful. Thanks so much. I didn't think about clicking it again 5 times to shut it off DUH! I was timing the battery length. I started it at 6:00 am and it lasted 33 hours. I was so amazed. Of course I was working so the real test will be on the weekend. I'm such a heavy vapor at home. I can't put it down :)

I decided to go with the blue..it was a toss up though. Burgandy was a very close second. I'm getting a second kit as a backup. I may just go with burgandy. Thanks again for all your help.

I'm still loving my KGO(s). I chain vape and they really do hang in there. I thought the first one was a dud as it wouldn't fire, called Brent at Hoosiers who gently informed me that I hadn't done the 5 click thing, doh... it's been all joy since then. I prefer 'em to my mods.

That's great to know that Kgo's are sturdy and reliable. I chain vape on mine too. We all learn different ways...I didn't know about hitting the button 5 times to shut it off...but I figured out how to start it hahaha! We're all learning together.

I purchased 2 ohm single coil LR cartomizers. Is LR really necessary? I have read where batteries last longer when not using LR. If there isn't much difference on a Kgo I'd rather have the longer battery life per charge.

Is 2.0 ohm a good fit or would a lower ohm be better?

Also, how long does a charge last on an unused Kgo?

As far as LR or not LR, it depends on the juice you're using. I use an echo-e carto on a KGO for a nice clear Pina colada juice. The echo-e comes in at about 2.6 ohms. It works and taste great. I use the 1.7ohm resurrectors on the KGO for a chocolate hazelnut juice. Works better with more flavor and a hotter burn than the echo-e.

Thanks mohawkx. I do have lighter and darker colored juices I'm vaping. I appreciate the help.
