I am looking for some info about my KGO. I was using it this morning ( had been vaping with it for about a hour after charging it for 4 hours ) with the same Vision eGo Clearomizer I have been using the past couple of days. It didn't stop firing when the button was released but the blue light went out so I quickly unscrewed the carto. Soon as I got the clearomizer off the button began blinking and hasn't stopped. It shows to be putting out .98 VDC when checked with volt meter. Everything looks fine and the center connector isn't touching the side. The carto is working fine on my other battery . Any Ideas what could have happened? The battery has been trough about 15 cycles.

UPDATE :It was/is the Vision Clearomizer. It did it to my other battery but the blinking stopped on the second Battery as soon as I unscrewed the carto . I went back to the other Vision Clearomizer ( I bought 2 to try ) and it is working well other than a funny taste due to me using orange in it without cleaning the watermelon out first. I guess something is shorting inside the first carto when moved a certain way or something , IDK. It has no resistance now so whatever happened internally stayed that way. Lesson learned , Fully investigate something like this before risking your back up. It is odd , My original battery is still blinking over 12 hours later and I have no Idea what to do to stop it.

I had a similar experience. The first battery started blinking just as you've described. I made the mistake of trying the bad carto on my backup battery. That one got smoked completely. In the future, I'll trash a carto, rather than ruin another battery. Hard lesson to learn

I ended up just buying new batteries

Another Kgo fan here. Got mine from Dark City Vapors. It came with cartomizers not atomizer. Bill threw in some extra boge LR 2.0. That was great cuz the cartos that came in the box were trash. Very happy with Kgo. Should be able to quit analogs for good now. This is day 3 without stinkies.
vape on friends.
Btw question on initial battery charge of 8 hours. I didnt do it. Too anxious I guess but there was plenty of charge out of box so I just vaped woth it & charged it later
Comments?

I bought my KGo kit from Hoosier last April and have been using one battery every day (a good 12 + hrs.) and it just won't die. :)
The Son wants another battery and I needed some small items from Hoosier so we're splitting a kit to get the charges up to the free shipping requirement. I felt that was justification for me to buy another kit . ;)

ROFL! I got mine from Hoosiers and now every time I order there, I feel like I have to bump up my order to get that free shipping. I'm such a sucker!

I'm very happy with the KGO after a few days. So far I've tried it with SmokeTech cartos (2.0 and 1.7) and Stardusts in LR and SR. I don't notice a lot of difference between the resistances in the cartos but do notice more difference with the Stardusts - the SR ones don't seem to perform all that well with the KGO, especially with thicker juice. The LR ones vape nicely, though. I bought an EMDCC also, but haven't tried it out yet.

I'm a big fan of 1.7 ohm Smoktechs on KGO batteries - that's all I use these days. I use them in ghetto tanks and they work great -

OOOOO good deal on replacement battery!!! Not that I NEED a replacement,, my beautiful burgundy red KGO's work fabulously. But I think a nice blue one would be a great replacement for my little 808 back-ups. And I agree with the 1.7ohm Smokteks... those and emdcc's and I'm in vaping heaven!

Got my KGO kit yesterday and did the charging routine and now am vaping happily a 1.7 ohm dual coil carto in a tank with some juice. I am also testing out my Boge 2.0 cartos on it too and I am happy with my purchase. On the Boge 2.0 the vapor is quite a bit more warm than on my eGo and the taste of the juice seems to come through a bit more. I don't think I will need anything much more powerful than this unit (famous last words I know).

i've gotten back into eGo batts lately, for dripping. Most of you use carto's here, like DCC and Resurrector 1.7. I'd like to have a KGO for dripping my SR attys...
Do I need a special adapter or do they fit any 510 atomizer?
I read where the KGO are PWM now and i guess that is an upgrade from the original KGO, so i guess i'd stick with Hoosier on that... I only need one unit so I'm thinking of getting a spare KGO batt and a usb charger. Hope that's all i need.
There's a place for the regular voltage eGo imo... 3.3v on the genuine joye eGo batts is great for LR attys in my experience, but I know there's a place for true 3.7 too; like DCC, and SR attys, or LR 2.0 Ohm. yeah.
The price is right vs a high end 3.7 mod.
