Well done SXD, but your biggest accomplishment, apart from a small personal triumph against the ciggies, is that whether you know it or not - you have assisted so many more people and inspired them to make coils with your simple, clear, well-photographed tutorials.

Damn. Reading thru all of your posts is heartfelt and flattering. I really appreciate your kind words and tributes. 1 year free of cigs is awesome. To hear some of y'all thank me for helping you is resulting in a really incredible feeling that I don't think I've ever felt in life before. Thank you for making me feel it. The reality is that this forum and you are the only people that I can mingle with vape-wise. There are no other vapers in my day to day. So the allot of thanks are due to Rob for not only making the cigarette annihilators but also for setting up REOvil here on ECF. (I hope he doesn't have to pay by the megabytes or by the post cause if he did, he is is paying out the AYuss with all of us posting our brains out )
Thanks to you REOnauts for making this a community full of the most helpful and inspirational people anyone could ever hope to meet. If REOvil didn't exist, I might be lucky enough to have a REO, but I'd still be vaping off cartos and not online at all I bet.

Exactly one year ago I abruptly had my last cigarette. I promised that I would never smoke again laying on that CT scan table if the results were negative for lung cancer.
Thank god they were. Thanks to Robs creations and the guidance, support and bond of my fellow REOnauts I was able to keep that promise.
Fact is, I enjoy vaping much more than I ever did smoking and I don't see myself ever quitting vaping. It's as much a fabric of my existence now as smoking had been since I was 13 years old. A really cool thing about vaping is this thing that is ECF.
The best part of ECF is that I found you REOnauts. Thanks to all of y'all for making this one hell of a fun and satisfying ride

I entered the vaping world 2 1/2 years ago. Spent the first year experimenting from stick batteries to egos to cartos,to attys, to LR attys , tanks, clearomizers, dripping, THEN found REOville in May 2012 and haven't looked back!

Russ! Congrats, buddy! I have read countless numbers of your posts when I was trying to determine if the ReO was for me and your tutorials made me feel that I'd be able to have the same great results that you achieved.

My darling girlfriend has embraced it as well...I didn't "plan" to quit, just met a buddy with an ego and a good flavor and I ran to the local vape shop. She quit with me on the exact same day and I think it's so hot seeing her next to me (INDOOrS instead of on the pAtio in the SoFlo summer!) vaping happily with her lil pink provari mini.
Anyway, so great to meet you and thanks again for giving me the steps and confidence to make a successful micro on my RM2 about 5 minutes after I took it out of the box. Peace!

How ironic too, all I accomplished in 30+ years of smoking was handing out smokes to smokers and lending them my bic Now, it seems I am back up to my old ways, but thru information this time and it is more along the lines of "teaching a man to fish" rather than just enabling a smoker to continue smoking.
Bro, to say i'm flattered would be an understatement. I am basking in delight. It's an awesome feeling.
And all you guys and girls singing me praise - perfect segue for this next statement:
I pm'd Rob to order something the other day and he said something along the lines of "I'm
sending you a gift". I don't recall exactly what he said cause I'm flipping out
. I haven't slept so good since then. It's a special mod. And when I get it ill post pix . REOvil and its inhabitants are what made me the me I am right now
