I'm in IT as well and I hear ya loud and clear. I have a Twitter account but never use it.

You are absolutely correct about this forum as opposed to others. It's always a bunch a jackholes fighting and insulting each other or disrespecting the newer members. Not here though. All I've found here so far is a bunch of friendly helpful people. I like this forum a lot.

Just one thing to watch out for when messing with the pg /vg ratio. The more vg ya use the thicker your juice will be so some equipment won't work as well with the thicker fluid. I think I saw some where that if you use mostly vg in a juice some of the ego-t atomizers won't work as well. I can't say for sure if it's true or not but just something to be aware of if you find your not getting your expected results.

I've found that adding 10% distilled water to my vg mixes does the trick.

I agree with you on the way people act on some sites but everyone's been really friendly here and very eager to help.

Glad to hear of all the success people are having with the eGo-T. I see a lot of semi-negative reviews especially when it comes to leaking issues. Though I have never experienced this myself I can't deny that it is an issue for some. As Batface pointed out, "easy enough for a noob to figure out". I have to agree, is is very simple to figure out and use. In my book for a noob that is a definite plus!

One more thing to note on the Ego-t. When they first came out some time ago, the tanks came with a hard plastic gasket. They now offer soft silicone gaskets that make a world of difference as far as leaking goes. If you currently have type A ego tanks with hard gaskets you can just purchase a pack of silicone gaskets. I think you get either 5 or 10 in a pack for less than $2. Myfreedomsmokes.com has them if you're interested.

Zodas, that’s great to hear! I use Boge carto’s about 99% of the time. The versatility of a good 510 style battery is probably one of the things I like best about the eGo-T. You’ll have to let us know how you like it.

I notice you’re from Columbus, OH. I’m an Ohio native myself, about an hour southwest from you in a town called Wilmington. I sometimes miss it, just not in the winter. :D

I just got my first eGo-T yesterday and love it. Since I'm new to vaping, I don't know anything about the type A you mentioned. How can one tell what type it is? I bought mine from a walk-in store tried it out, we didn't discuss that there are different types. Also, here and there I have seen references to doing some atomizer maintenance. I even read somewhere a reference to boiling them, but haven't seen anything very specific yet. Can anyone enlighten me on this, such as what to do and when? Is there such a thing as a maintenance-free atomizer? Thanks in advance!

Batface is correct. The main difference is in the shape of the atomizer. The tanks also vary, in the type-A it hold about 1.1 ml of liquid while the B holds 2 ml. The really nice thing is you can use both type A and B on you battery. There have been reported leak issues with both although I have not had the issue. So I would keep an eye on it just in case. Some of the things I’ve heard that helps (and what I do):
• Do not fill the tank up to the very top, leave about 1mm space open for air
• Hold the battery end up when inserting or removing the tank.
• When you insert the tank spin it (I always go clockwise but I’m not sure it matters) at least 40 degrees or more until it lines up how you normally take a hit.
• Don’t vape it dry (I come close) most people suggest refilling when it is half full.
• It is not necessary to remove the end cap on the tank to refill it. Just fill through the hole that is created when you first place in the atomizer.
• There are optional silicone caps to replace the hard plastic ones though I have never used them.
• As a rule I blow out my atomizer when I fill up the tank, wipe it down with a paper towel.

I’m sure I’m missing something. Another nice thing about these batteries is their versatility. Anything out there (and that’s a lot) that uses a 510 connection will work. I have some Boge Cartos and ego mega dual coils. I will use all three methods and look forward to trying the Resurrectors (Carto that holds more liquid and has really great reviews).

As far as cleaning the atomizers go I have yet to do that, just lazy I guess. There are a lot of instructional videos out there on youtube.

Hi,

I liked your post too. I am also using the Ego-T but with the 650mAh battery. The batteries last quite a long time. I use 1 for the whole day and the other is fully charged ready to use if needed.
I got to say I am a pretty good vapor. Especially in the weekend. I love the taste of the e-juices. I love coffee 24mg nic. and Dr. pepper 18mg nic.
The day I started the vaping (01-17-2012) I quit analogs and haven't even looked back.

Does anybody else with the go-T know what the best percentage of PG and VG is used for these type of vapers?
