Hey guys for some reason my low resistance atomizers i ordered are not working with my EGO battery.........Here is what happened with each of the three i tried. I would fill up a cartridge with plenty of juice. Next I plugged it into my LR atty and then into the battery. I would take a puff and i would get a little bit of smoke and then after that NOTHING.......not a pinch of smoke at all. This happened with all 3 of them so it cant be a faulty atty. Afterwards i tried the regular atty and it worked fine. Has anyone had this problem before?? what could be the culpirt? thanks

on one of them i put a couple of drops in.....should I..... shouldnt it work with the cartridge?
It depends on your cartridge filler, but a general rule is that a cartridge will not immediately deliver enough juice to the atty. doots is right, you need to prime a dry with 2-3 drops. Also make sure you are screwing the atty all the way onto the battery connector.
On a new LR I always place about 5 drops at first to get it well primed..
I never use carts so cant really tell you.. I always drip 3 drops and take about 3 hits or so and then 3 more drops using a drip tip..

ok i am doing everything you guys said and just to confirm it when i use the regular atty everything works..... GRRRR this is making me mad. I am literally getting NO smoke after 4-5 drops straight onto the atty...... do certain LR attys not work with the ego?? this is making no sense...
has no one had this problem????? I am POSITIVE it is the atty and I am doing everything correctly.
Is the atty getting warm at all? I'd hate to think that you got 3 defective atties, but it is possible. Do you have a multimeter that you can check the resistance of the atties on? That would tell you pretty quickly if they are complete duds. Based on what you've said, it doesn't sound like they are flooded, but you might want to blow them out and start over just to make sure. You would probably get some vapor and hear gurgling, anyway. Also make sure the threads are clean, although with new atties, that's unlikely to be the issue.
tried what you just said cyber... nope the atty isnt even getting hot.... I ordered them from nhaler.com .... they are the magnum 510 LR attys if you look them up... Does anyone have any suggestions on LR attys that worked good for their EGO/Tornado??? thanks!
ok if you havent flooded them by now with all of your testing... try this pull out the center post of the atty ever so slightly... with a finger nail or anything that will fit.. do this by prying the center post evenly all around the diameter.... not too much and don't force it ..it shouldn't be hard to do.

I use LR attys on my ego and have not had an issue. I have 4 of them and they all work. Granted they were all broken in on a 510 before I got my ego.

I, too bought 2 LR attys from Nohaler, and mine worked pretty much like what you just said. Now I'm not a pro (only been doing this for 8 months), but I think I know what I'm doing and I feel their LR's are not quality, and are bad out of the box or fry out quickly. Don't bother calling--I did and some girl told me too bad--no refunds. I sent an email to the owner a few weeks back and still no answer. I will not buy from them again, and have been turned off on the whole LR thing. Too bad because what I did experience from the LR was good, just very short lived
Although, if anyone can tell me a good LR supplier...I'm willing to try one more time

Wow, I got one LR atty included in my eGo kit from Nhaler and it is still working great. Volumes of vapor. I drip with it only. I don't think they are meant for carts. Maybe you burned the filler into the atty and killed it.
I definitely havnt flooded it... I only dripped one time (about 4 drops). Can you please explain a little differently what you are talking about? sorry I am new to E cigs and you lingo was a little confusing for me.. thanks!

sounds as if you might have some bad attys, contact the seller...
if you flip the atomizer upside down..(looking at the connection side) you will see an inner "ring" (metal) that's the center contact of the atty.. if you pull it out just a little bit so it may contact the center portion of the ego battery connector....
sometimes the atty not making contact with the battery is the issue.....
if that doesn't work then yes you might have killed/or already dead atties.. but to know for sure a multimeter would be needed....

Yes it is a good possibility(not saying definately) it's not the fact that it isn't long enough sometimes the center piece is in too far... or if you switch from one PV to another with a different type of connector.. it gets pushed in....
I have had to do it with my cartos, 901,510,and 801 atties... depending on what mod I was using.. or what batch of atty I purchase
