Hi all just wanted to share with you about my semi new black and red mini reo. Her name is Appleeye and I really didn't like her button placement and how I had to smash down on it. I was going to put her up for sale. Then I would look at her and see how well made she is and I just couldn't. So I use her now and then because, not only her button placement bother me but she didn't seem to hit as hard as my other mods. But she so pretty I couldn't part with her. So reading the reo forum I learned I didn't have to smash down on the button . And you all were saying how the mini woodvil hit better. I was going to buy a mini woodvil because maybe it would hit better and it has a nice big button on the side. Then i would have to sell Appleeye because I know if I liked the new mini woodvil she would just sit in a drawer. Well they say things happen for a reason, I was on the notify me email list for the ebony-ebony mini and right at 7:00 I got it in my basket going though check out and something got stuck so I hit the back button, then all seemed good went to continue to check out and then it said out of stock. WHAT!!! I said to myself I had one. I was ...... I called Rob and told him what happen so anyways what can he do. He said he call and let me know if it was a site thing or if they were all gone. So I thought aw maybe next round.

long story short I was trying to think of a way to make less of a TH on a devise for a family member who cough with every e cig I give them to try. I had this Bloog MaxFusion cartomizer that I took all the inners out, the poly and the sock and i had also punched a hole in it with a roofing nail and hammer to use in my tank . I thought maybe it might give less of a TH hit used with a drip shied because of the hole. I used a 510 to 808 adapter and a drip shied and put it on my Appleeye to test and BAM it hit great and hard just like I wished it did from the start. So I will not be selling Appleeye and I don't need a mini woodvil. I don't just like her now I love her. Really anyone not happy with the way their mini reo hits has got to try this it works and it works great. Well my family member won't like it LOL to much TH. That's my little mini reo story. I hope my great cartomizer trick helps some of you fall more in love with your mini.

NOTE: I'm not sure if you will need a punched hole in it I just had one like that already. EDIT: you do not need to punch a hole in it and it still working awesome.

Nice that your story has a happy ending! The button is something that gives a lot of people problems. But it is usually user error when they think they have to press on it too hard.
You should try different cartomizers and attys on your Mini. All are different. Even the different resistance will give you a variety of choices.
Yes, sometimes it make take awhile to find what you really enjoy, but the REO's are great vaping machines!

I did try different atties (low, reg, high) 901s,510, 306 and different carto's which i really do hate. The bloog maxfusion empty of its inners was the only one that put a happy face on me ;-)

What a great story!

I started with a woodvil and then a mini woodvil. I'm now fully addicted to reo's, and am thinking about buying a pair or metal mini's. I feel like I'd been spoiled starting with wood mods, so I'm really hoping I end up loving my little mini reo's as much as you do!

Thanks for sharing that!

You should have 2 minis right about now... What are you going to name the all silver one?

Three but I bought the other two for family, I'm on a mission trying to get family members into vaping. Here is the line up. I which out the doors on the all silver but when I see my brother in-law I will let him choose. The other for my husband but he's on the fence he likes his Bloog Maxxfusion.
Thanks for the silver one it is in perfect condition.

You will and it's a tank I throw her in my purse and i'm off don't have to worry about damage. On the woodvil if I get one I would keep safely at home.

The Mini's are great for taking out. They are so small and easy to hold and use. Because they are such tough little things, you can feel good about taking them where you would not want a wood REO. Be ready for a difference in feel, but also a great little vapor producer!

Very true and if I get a mini woodvil it will stay home.
