What are you using for 5V? That same MV regulator? One of the '350's I have has a sensitive protection circuit and will sometime shut down if I use a dual coil on it but doesn't happen often. Other than that I like it at 5v.

I haven't gotten around to remaking my 18650 copper yet but have made a nice small 14500 copper. Looking forward to a sideXside 2x14500 VV or 5v regulated. Possibly the big brother of that one aswell w/18650 if it works out.
Yep, I also use their little switch circuit board for a batt contact and solder the board with the reg, resistor and switch straight up on top of it. I'm using their 1g tact switch and a silver bullet hot spring.
I built another copper with a IMR 26650 and the TI 4050 with 82k resistor for 4.5v. Like it!

What size copper pipe/tube did you use for the 26650? I have a few of those cells.
I walked into Home Depot with a pocket full of batteries LOL Got some pretty funny looks when I kept sticking them into things![]()
1" M type copper. The thicker tubing will not fit.
Robert
Thanks, sounds like another trip to HD is in order![]()
So you've actually shoved one into a 1" pipe?My Home Depot didn't have it, but you might luck out. If not try try a plumbing supply store. Last time I was in Lowes I noticed they had the 1" end caps so they might have it.

I wonder how a stacked pair of 26650s with an OKR module for VV would look.
You could easily keep it under a foot long
And I have the perfect name for it![]()
