My mouth hurts...ouch

It's very similar to what I feel the night before my kid's birthday, after filling up dozens of balloons with my mouth. After 10+ hours of heavy chain vaping (trying out some new attys), my mouth hurts... it gave up.

I know I can't be the only one so here I'm posting to hear the stories about your tired mouths.

The only thing that hurts about my mouth is my teeth. Some liquid makes my teeth so sensitive. But as soon as I stop vaping it they go back to normal. The problem now is that I have tried 3 different vendors this week and don't know which one is the culprit!

Well, in my case I've been vaping all these liquids for over a week so I know they are fine. What's new is these Ego Mega attys I received today, 4 of them.


I opened the 1st one, blew out the primer, loaded it up with menthol (50/50 pg/vg) and soon after I was in vaping heaven. I spend like 8 hours with that one then I got tired of the menthol and decided to load 2 more attys with strawberry and RY4.

The strawberry was 100% vg, thicker juice and it seems it was a lot slower @ wickage. I also forgot to blow the primer out so it took me some time to get that atty going. Then the RY4 was 100% PG, it gave me another primer hit as I forgot to blow the primer again. It was so awful I tried to drip a little... but I flooded the atty... blew it out for a long time, then fired it up. It's not yet perfect but is getting there.

Then I kept alternating between these 3 attys, menthol, strawberry and RY4... for like an hour, and my mouth started hurting and felt all tired. I'm not sure if it was the extended chain vaping or the atty blowing.

I put the PV down and let it rest. I wanna vape, but I'll wait. I'm sniffing the cap of the RY4 atm ... lol, the things we addicts do.

I don't know much about the ego mega-carto's. I have one, just never tried it. Instead, I found the Clearomizers and have been using those. I have a shot-glass with about 4 full ones and like you I alternate them. Sometimes I vape all day but my mouth never feels sore. The smoke just rolls up out of the thing. (Ego with Clearomizer).

Do you have to suck hard on the mega-carto's? Perhaps trying to take take hits too fast? I know on my 510 which I use at work because it looks like a cig I sometimes try to hotbox, which doesn't work. I just get so impatient for a good hit. Once I slow down I can get some good hits with the 510, but it's a skill.
You shouldn't have to suck much to get a good hit. If that's the case you need a different rig.

I now see my problem. While atty #1 had lose/confortable draw, attys #2 and #3 were kinda hard. I removed cartridges on those and place the attys on my desk. I now see a small pool of liquid (2 or 3 drops) below each atty. They were indeed flooded...
