Six weeks of heavy use, I'm seeing a decline in performance. I started with two days use, then basically started putting it on charge every night because I hated using an ego backup for four hours. I heard that was okay. Now the button seems to flash now and the before 10 seconds, won't fire now and then, and now I'm at yellow at the end of one day. And yellow seems to mean "about dead" even tho it never reads below 3.7. I'd hate to tell the in-laws my Christmas gift is half dead before March!
Help? Anyone else?

I have had mine since November 2013 at least...very heavy use, Protanks, Evods, and even set it to 11 watts (max) for my Russian 91%....I'm not seeing the symptoms you are seeing...I can go about 2-3 days before a charge, (still green)...Yours doesn't sound right.
You might want to see where it was bought and see if they can help you.

BTW..is this with all toppers (clearmoizers)? or just particular one

How are you charging it? Green does NOT mean done. It simply means the battery voltage is above 3.75 volts.

Do you charge it until the light extinguishes? There are some here that will tell you to only charge until you get to a certain voltage reading. I'm not sure I agree with that logic as a typical charging curve for a LiIon includes quite a bit of saturation charging.

A charge of 3.9 volts is less than 75% capacity, and since the unit has a very high "red indicator" (3.63 volts) you are looking at a fairly narrow band.

Mine does this occasionally.

Mine has done this too, but it's usually after I have double hitched. I think there is a minimum time between button presses required to reset the circuitry.

What is your puff count. I know that puff counters are useless but I do have use for them in tracking my usage. I usually do not vary my puff length by much.

Start comparing the puff counter with various voltage levels. About when does it drop to 3.9....3.8......3.7.

I did notice when I was vaping at 6.5 watts the battery lasted much longer than it does now that I'm pushing my kayfun at 9.0 watts.

But that is to be expected.
