Hi again guys and gals,

Last week I bought an itaste mvp, and somehow the beauty ring and the clearomizer got stuck, trying to remove my tank from the battery by hand but no luck so I tried it with much force by using a vice grip and it turn!!!.....with the 510 connector :( so basically my mvp is now useless, can anyone tell me if I can still repair it or at least bring it to someone who can repair? Thank you.

*Winces* Ouch. If you have a local Brick and Mortar e-cig shop near you, then you could see if they could. That or if you have a friend that is into electronics, and in assembly or repair, RC Car enthusiast, or such they might be able to fix it. Biggest things would be if the connector can still be fit back in, second, the connector wires would have to be re-spliced and soldered if enough of them are still left.

Yikes! I actually had something similar happen to me recently with my 3 day old MVP and its Iclear16 getting stuck inside of my protanks beauty ring. Fortunately for me I grbbed a pair of needle nose pliers and got it off after only a mini panic attack with no damage to the mvp or beauty ring and only some scrapes on the base of the Iclear.

Lesson learned and I won't be repeating that EVER again.

Sorry to hear about yours :(

Yup! Might just hunt for some electronic guys, and I see the wires all twisted and you right it needs new wires and probably new connector.

I only use the ProTank beauty collar with my protank when on my Ego-V V2, which is generally the only tank that is on it, Protank comes off, it comes off. Looking at getting an MVP this weekend, will have to see what goes on with the Protank from there, but I will be buying a couple DCT collars as well, so might use those for other attachments like a DCT on the MVP.

Had my MVP since Jan, nothing but good vaping from it. Sorry to hear of your loss...

I've found that if you use the MVP beauty ring, it needs to go on first and come off last. Don't try to take the clearo and ring off together, as the ring likely won't go up all the way, and then wedges against the side of the clearo and acts like a lock ring.

Most of the video reviews mentioned that the iclear16 might get stuck if using the beauty ring, and you could accidentally unscrew the bottom of the clearo, since it was a tight fit. The beauty ring is best used for a flush/flat type tank -- it works extremely well with the iclear 30. I usually use the one that comes with the Protank for the Protank.

I'm sorry to hear of your troubles. The MVP has been nothing but solid vaping for me in the month that I've had mine, and I'm looking forward to picking up version 3, hopefully later this year.

Contact the vendor and/or Innokin, if necessary. This should not be happening. Your device should still be under warranty.

Good luck!

I contacted both innokin said return the unit to vendor coz it's under 3 mos warranty but vendor told me that it is only a month of warranty and perhaps it's my fault because I forced it. Vendor instead offered me a half price to their expense which I think is fair so I bought another unit. But innokin did not reply when I told them that the vendor denies to replace my mod. Anyways I'm happy with my new mvp that came with iclear 30.

I am on my second MVP after my first ended up in pieces after the tank got stuck on it. It happened again about a week ago to my current mod but luckily I was able to get it off without destroying this one. I have since taken the beauty ring off because there is nothing beautiful about a broken mod. I have noticed the threads on the ring were not aligned as well as they should be. It seems to be an issue that should be resolved by the manufacturing company.

I have one of the original MVP's and I use the beauty ring and the I clear 16 together all the time because I think they look good together I have never had a problem. All you have to do is screw down the beauty ring tightly first then make sure the base of the I clear is tightened then screw the I clear down into the beauty ring only moderately tight and you will never have a problem at least I never did. It wss my at work vape for almost a year
