My new Astro clone

Got my new Astro clone from fasttech yesterday as well as my new polished Russian 91% from vapordna. Love the Russian so much I ordered another one today. It's a limited production run so if anyone wants one they're still in stock. The Astro looks to be extremely well made and it's extremely small in 18350 mode as in my preferred size of 18490 as pictured. All in all not a bad little mech mod for $21.

On the Russian 91% Shiny Steel edition, did they fix the wobby center post issue?

The astro clone is really a great buy from FT. I'm thinking about getting another. Be prepared to clean it, mine came in filthy with machining oil and shavings yet no scratches. The only thing I dislike about it is the etching on my top cap, where it looks somewhat faded on the brass, but it's not a big deal since your atty will always be on top of it.


Throw on this switch is good, and it's a really light weight mod which may or may not be good for you. Threading is also nice, no trouble at all having to keep lining it up and screwing any parts back into place. Last thing to mention is in 18650 mode top half is slightly wobbly, but once a batteries in there no wobble at all.
