I just built this one today. It's a single 14500 box mod with an arm to allow it to rotate 360 degrees and still make a connection. I used RCA Phono jacks for the arm.
Pretty simple and nothing new. But it works and I'm happy that it allows me to hold it in whatever fashion is most comfortable at the moment.
No flashy LEDs or anything. If it doesn't serve a functional purpose, then I don't put it in my mods.
I'll probably end up putting it in a bigger box and use an 18650, but for now I used the parts I had at the time. There's no epoxy in the box, it's self. Everything is secured in with nuts and washers. That will make it simple to transfer parts to another box when I get around to it.
