Hi all , hope the holiday season is going well for everybody. Just a quick update on my rebuildable tank. It arrived yesterday which in itself is pretty impressive. My first couple of attempts at the wick and coil resulted in E1, E2 and E8 errors. After burning the wick for about three minutes (red hot) I built it all for a third time, and up she fired. Resistance at 2.5 ohms and a voltage of 4.1 produces a really nice hit. I am told things will improve as it all beds down but by way of a little comparison to a vivi nova i would score things like this
Vapour - vivi 7 did 9
Throat hit - vivi 8 did 7
Flavour - vivi 5 did 9
Looks - vivi 7 did 10
So for me the vivi scores 27/40, the Did 35/40
The throat hit really is different on the two tanks, the did is a cooler hit and requires less sucking ( if you will pardon the expression).
At first wasn't sure this was a good thing but I am growing to like it quite a bit. Finally a quick mention for the Provari, they are so expensive but what a bit of kit, registering the short circuit and moving to defence mode, reliable resistance checks and top build quality and looks. Ten out of ten here. Would I recommend the Did, yes definitely, I know they are expensive but can't imagine anyone being disappointed, they are that nice you could put it on your bookshelf as an ornament - first ever rebuildable tank available directly through a website, a piece of history in my book. Thank you Jim for running such an efficient business. Finally a picture to give you an idea visually. If you are undecided about buying my advice - go for it!
