Arrived today! I'm trying to figure it out since it's my first. How often do you squonk? How can you tell if enough juice is getting in the rm2? I took too many hits before squonking and it tastes burnt. Not sure if that means the cotton has to be changed now or just keep going? It's still tasting burnt lol. This is much different from anything I'm used to but at first this juice I have in here tastes SOOO much better than in my ibtanked that I have the same juice in. :) woodvil.jpg

Now to answer your questions...

-Squonk as often as is needed. Excess juice will drain back into the bottle. I rarely take more than two drags between squonks. I like fresh juice to be in contact with the wick/coil at all times.

-You can remove the drip tip and watch as you squonk to see how much force is needed. Every time I squonk, my goal is to submerge the coil with juice.

-A burned cotton wick will need to be replaced. That burnt taste will hang around.

That's a beauty! Congratulations, it finally came :). Just like face meat said, change out your wick and get used to squonking every couple of vapes. You'll get the feel for it in short order. When squonking, I press and do a 3-5 count. I might watch the air hole for a bubble. If you have any questions, anyone here will be more than happy to help.

Thanks ya'll! I think the problem was the line was pinched and I didn't know it. Juice wasn't coming up in there and I was squonking away. lol. So, pulled the plastic bottle out and put it back in but not sure how to prevent this from happening again? It fixed it by taking it out and putting back but I'm not really sure what needed to happen to fix it is what I mean. It's not tasting burnt anymore - do I still need to change the cotton? I think I got what you guys call a dry hit ;)

Congrats, Kinggirl! Yay! You may need to take the bottle off and either trim a little bit off the bottom of the line, or cut an inverted "v" in it so that it can't suction itself to the bottom of the bottle. Or just trim it a little at an angle. Also, sometimes we screw the cap on too tight/not tight enough. Just finger tight works....no need to crank it down. At first I watch for air bubbles to come out of the end of the hose after I've squonked to know I have it right. You'll have it down in no time. I also squonk every 2-3 hits. Take your drip tip off and watch the coil get drowned a time or two and you'll develop a feel for how much pressure/how long that takes.

Isn't that thing beautiful? Like I mentioned, I have it's exact twin. I absolutely love the Jatoba wood. It has such a nice texture and weight to it. ENJOY!!!

Thank you! I'm in love with it!!!! But, realizing now I probably need to get another one because I'm terrified to leave the house with this!

Brooks, don't be afraid to use her. They're really tough. I agree you need another one, but just because....not because you can't use the socks off this one. Ha. Just relax and enjoy it. You'll love it more and more as you go along and realize how much you can totally rely on it to perform.....every time, all the time. You'll get so spoiled. You'll soon wonder why EVERYBODY doesn't just have a REO. It's (IMHO) THE ultimate vaping device.

Thanks Jan! I see NOW what the fuss is about. Not just in beauty but in functionality. Juices never tasted so good!

Congrats to you and the reo is beautiful. I am still rather new but when I first started using the reo, I literally took the drip tip off and watched it while I squonked to see for myself I was getting enough to wet my wick. Their is the little gurgle you get too. Listen for it. It is a beautiful sound. After a bit of watching how it all works, it just come second nature without even thinking about it. Good luck to you and happy vaping. :)
