I have been vaping for less than 2 months and have converted 4 smoking friends over to V4L. One had even tried e-cigs before but was not happy with the experience. Of course, he was dealing with the wrong company. All converts have gone from at least a pack a day to zero analogs. It's nice combining resources on orders, ideas, cart swaps, trading batteries, and trying new flavors.

All are interested in the big bottles of their favorite juice. Any word on the shipment yet?

Lol it's great to hear you are converting people over. I almost feel like I need to dress up in a nice suit and go door to door... almost....

I've managed to convert most all the smokers I work with in this building.. That's 6 others, plus my father in law. I talked to my dad about it, and he's going to place an order when he gets back from Hawaii.

I'm feeling very inadequate... :grr: I've only converted one person so far. Either it's a money issue with people.. (which doesn't make any sense) Or the last one I almost "got" was freaked out about what she would be inhaling... really? I don't get either one of these excuses but... maybe they just don't get it. I can only do so much explaining and convincing. I'm going to keep trying though.
Talked to an old friend in Cali. last night. He sounded very interested so sending him the link to the site today...;-)

I feel the same way. Of the 6 people I have converted, 4 of them have since gone back to smoking. None of them use the internet much, if at all, and I think that has a lot to do with it.
My fiance and I have had such great success with this, and I believe it is due to the support and information on this forum. I think it can be very frustrating for some people who just blindly order e-cigs and don't have all this information and support to fall back on.

I'm surprised at some peoples' reactions. My father in law is a "manly" man but he was very excited about the Cowboy & Kamel flavors he got and is hooked.. My mother in law was the one I was actually trying to convert for health reasons, and she balked at the idea. Which was weird since she's sorta techy and loves gadgets.

Of course there are a few people who think it's just 'stupid' and will plainly say that it's the dumbest thing they've ever heard of and just can't believe it'd work. Those people just won't see reason even after showing them the thousands of people that have successfully quit/cut down on the polls here

I've been VERY surprised at people's reaction to my ecig. I work with a number of smokers, who all want to quit. They've all expressed great interest in my ecig and see how well I'm doing with it - especially since they know how much I used to smoke. Yet very few show any interest in trying it out themselves. I don't understand it - at all.

I agree that the support on this forum is what helped me immensley. I have a few friends that bought another version of a pv for 150 bucks but then called me to find out where to get the juice for them and how they fill them and so on..Some people are not that savvy in the way they choose their product and then dont have the support they need to succeed in the following weeks which are the hardest...I tried to stress v4L and this forum but i guess some people just wont listen..but no matter their choice Ill be there to help them whenever they need it! This forum has taught me that a little support can go a long way!!

Lol... I ran into a friend at the casino over the weekend and she was like "oh is that one of those e-cigs?" I told her yeah. She apparently bought one but can't use it because she doesn't know where to "put the juice" !!!??!!?!? Lol... I'm guessing she has a three piece.
I just think it's sad that she's got a PV laying around not being used because she can't figure it out.

The four people that have gone back to smoking, are friends of mine from our camp at the lake. I only see them in the summer. I converted them last summer at the end of the season when I was very new to whole thing myself. They were very interested at the beginning, and ordered a kit for each of them, but the last time I talked to them (over the phone) they said it was too hard to keep up with, and they didn't want to bother with refilling, ordering ahead, and trying to find that "it" flavor. I told them to check out this site for tips, and tried to help the best I could, but they seem to have just given up!:(
I am hoping this summer I can show them what it's all about, and get them back on track *fingers crossed*

ROFL! That's a lot of words to ask the infamous question of:

WHERE'S THE JUICE?

I wish I had better answers, so far over 90000 bottles you know where8-o

I keep on trying, making myself sick trying:yawn:

After CNY we will try some new methods:D

In the meantime, I think I just wasted a college diploma worth of $$$.

I hope y'all realize, when V4L does things, it is not in a small way:pervy:

Patience, will pay off.....promise:p

Also, it's absolutely baffling when you first start out. The different models, the different types/sizes of batteries, the cartos with the flavors and nicotine strength, the chargers, etc.

I started out by researching on the ECF forum which brought me to V4L. I chose it because it seemed like a reputable dealer with many happy customers. But I have to say, the first time I went on the site, I was overwhelmed by all the choices. I honestly didn't know where to start. So I just dove in, bought the "ultimate ultimatum kit" (I figured all that stuff would start me off on a good foot lol) and bought a couple of boxes of carts. I wasn't crazy about either of the flavors I chose (but not to be deterred) I placed another order for 5 sampler packs, and with the freebies that V4L threw in, I ended up with about 30 different flavors - and finally found the ones I love and in the proper nic strength.

When people ask me about my ecig, I tell them the truth. I tell them it's not exactly like smoking a cigarette, there's a learning curve involved and you have to expect to spend a bit of money initially trying to find what's right for you. After that it's up to them.

I honestly don't understand how Customs has the right to seize shipments of a LEGAL substance. To the best of my knowledge it is not an illegal or regulated product at this point in time. What gives them the authority to do this? I think a class action is in order. All vapers who want their juice... unite! (And contact your local political representatives.)

Steve, Is there a difference between customs seizing shipments and simply "holding them up"? I guess what I am really asking is there a chance that you won't get them for months or never? If so, many of us may have to get the small bottles.

I know that you cannot tell us when they will be in, but can you simply estimate a time frame so we can plan for our supply needs? I promise I won't hold you to anything that you are guesstimating on....

Steve, I don't supposed you have considered finding or funding a US based juice company to fulfill your needs? Things are so bad in MI I bet they would work for close to what you pay the Chinese workers if you factor in the costs of NOT having your goods seized by a corrupt government agency (I mean US, not China).

Do blank carts get held up or seized?

In regards to the post "Of course there are a few people who think it's just 'stupid' and will plainly say that it's the dumbest thing they've ever heard of and just can't believe it'd work."
I too have coworkers who said I was stupid. I have taken satisfaction in giggling at them as they come in dripping from smoking in the rain. One of the early and loudest naysayers asked me for the website last week and I just smiled and gave him a business card.
