here it is...spent several hours cutting this badboy today.

currently, it will hold:

-assembled Prodigy, minus atomizer/cart
-2 spare batteries
-atty/cart assembled
-2 slots for atty or carts (both are about same size)
-4 slots for 3ml bottles

fits in a shirt pocket.

enjoy...

the foam is a pain to find :)

sponge foam sucks, and craft foam is like 2mm thick so that doesn't work either.

i used foam similar to this:

EZGooddeals.com - Foam Mats, Puzzle Interlock Mats, Exercise, Judo/Grappling, Yoga and much more!!

that's not where i got it, but it's easier explained if you see it that way :) they sell those things at most department stores, walmart, sears, target...the stuff i got was grey and from Sears, back in hardware. i lucked out and got enough to cover like 20 square feet, it was on sale for 9.99 vs regular 19.99. one side is plain, the other side looks like "metal" tread.

oh, and it's 1/2" thick. pretty easy to cut with a razor blade and scissors, but the smaller cuts are tricky.

that case is a lil big i think i for most peoples purposes ....but the idea is sound.
what did you use for the outer case?
Also what do you think about using the foam that came in some of the regular e-cig boxes that we all probably have laying around maybe we can cut that foam to a case that would fit the prodigy ?

Nice work Flitz! I know that foam is a biotch to cut. I find that using an x-acto knife and patiently making many multiple cuts leaves a nice clean edge. I like the window top tin as well. Did you just have that lying around or did you buy it specifically for your Prodigy?

I hope my Prodigy ships next week, I wanna play too!

heh, i ordered it specifically hoping it was going to fit the Prodigy. it is from Specialty Bottle - Glass & Plastic Bottles Jars Vials Tins Other Containers for like, $1.04 apiece.

so far it was the only thing i could find that was less than 1" thick, and that wasn't too wide to not fit in my shirt pocket. i've been using Camel cig tins for my 901, this is marginally larger, but not as big as most of the other options i've seen.

actually the case is about 1mm too small, the adapter tip for the Prodigy pushes against the plastic top of the tin case, but not so much that it's going to damage it, and the caee still closes :)

Yeah, I remember you posting about using those old Camel tins. I love those things. (The ciggs were good too.) I still use those tins to hold little stuff. I opened one up the other day to get into my charcoal.

I had to order some Altoid type tins for a packaging design project awhile back. I still have quite a few from having to order so many. I don't think they're deep enough to fit the Prodigy though.

sadly curtis, the altoid tins aren't quite long enough either, i just checked :)

the other thing, people have posted about these, those little USB jumpdrive cases are a great size too, but they are an inch thick and wouldn't fit in my shirt pocket because of the bulk.

also, the micro altoid tins (also can get one slightly bigger on the site in my other post) are great for carrying a couple of spare 3ml bottles for a couple extra flavor choices, or even attys or carts.
