I have been loving my vivi nova but as most people know over time the coil burns the seal on the atty head and it starts to taste horrible, so the other night I brought it down to my work shop to fix the issue when I decided why not just rebuild the whole thing and make it a genesis style atty. so after about 3 hours of work this is what I got.

Now I was just hoping to find a few other people out there who are doing the same things with these or if anyone has an fun ideas on what I can do with them next?

well it is very easy to rebuild a vivi nova wick and there is a lot of videos out there on it as well as loads of videos on how to build a genesis style wick. the hard part is turning the vivi nova into a genesis style atty, the parts I used were 3 vivi novas, 2 metal vivi nova tank upgrades, 3x1" ss mesh, and a few odds and ends from old attys.

now that I know the best way to do it I will make myself a second one and make a video on it so that anyone out there can make themselves a nice rebuildable for only $30

yea I have to use a metal tank for the bottom half of the unit because it acts as the positive terminal of the battery for the way I have mine put together but I'm sure it can easily be done with plastic tanks if you just add an extra wire. You can get the metal tanks from gotvapes and healthcabin.

That is very cool!

It looks like you are using both of the metal tanks full size. Have you thought of cutting down either the top or bottom ones?
I have never seen these in person so I don't know if there is enough meat in that metal to cut new threads.
I am assuming that the bottom tank is pretty well gutted of any of the Vivi internals. That means there should be a lot more capacity in there. Probably closer to a full 6ml or more. You could cut that down a bit and gain a bit of compactness.
The top chamber also looks full sized. With that height, the vape might be pretty cool. If you cut that down, it might produce a bit hotter vape and reduce condensation.

Either way, I raise a toast to your Macgyver-esq talent.:toast:

Thanks for the helpful tips! your right it is a cool vape with a little too much condensation but I dont have the tools to rethread the tank if I cut it but I do think it is thick enough to do so.

The tanks are gutted so it holds about 5ml but ill show all of that in the video later, I just cleaned up my workshop so I will probably record it tomorrow and throw it up on my youtube before the weekend.

the atty is a little long on most devices but I'm planning on building a side tube battery so instead of the battery being bellow the atty it will be next to it so it will feel a lot more like a box mod vape
