Hey all, Im new to vaping (started Jan. 6th), but after two days, I gave up analogs. Im also the type to jump in and learn by doing, good and bad, trial and error. Im a tinkerer, so this "hobby" is awesome for me. I started with a Xvape V2 (looks just like a lavatube), and yesterday bought an iTaste SVD. Saturday I ordered a Provari. I know, I know, Im prolly jumping in wayyyyy to fast, but thats me, push the limits of sanity and reason to achieve a desired level of learning. After countless HOURS of looking at all things vaping on the net, ive settled on this forum, as it seems to have the most knowledgeable base of people :). Anywho, Im much happier so far, as this is 7 days today with no analogs. I have two Kanger Protank 2's and my SVD, and my Provari will be here tomorrow. Im really liking the learning curve with vaping, and love the fact that I dont stink anymore from analogs. My wife has a....well....super human...bloodhound nose. She could smell me as soon as I came in from the garage after smoking. First thing I heard..."Geeze, you stink Jay!!!!". Well, enter vaping....I can sit on the couch next to her and vape, and she says "Oh, what flavor is that, it smells really good!!". Hmmm, I think that made up my mind right away!!! My coworkers also notice the difference, and i can vape right in my shop and not bother anyone. Ive been trying out different flavors and different ohm coils, but I do like the Protank alot. Im into the whole "industrial" look, like, for example, the SVD looks like a freakish light sabre hahaha. I like things that make people go "What the effff is THAT!!??". Its just me. I plan on getting a iTaste 134, because I love the style. As Im still learning, Ive found that this is an ever evolving lifestyle changer. Im very appreciative of all the members here and the knowledge I look forward to gaining!!!!!

LOLLL welcome to ECF and congrats. How my wife ever willingly snuggled and lovingly kissed me is beyond comprehension...must really be love
Cheers and the Best of Luck.

Edit: Here's a decent sales site.

Realize though if ordering from FastTech they sell knockoffs and genuine. Also shipping can be an issue. Ask here before ordering.

Welcome to the forum, I tinker as well. The protank II is a good start and since you like to fiddle with things when you are ready for a rebuildable atomizer I think you will enjoy it. Check out the "rebuild protank coil" threads you might find them useful and it will assist you in the transition to a more advance atty.

Theres more advanced attys ???? Oh do tell!!!! I really have a lot of time on my hands, since my normal job is 4 days on 4 days off. I have time to do pretty much what ever I want during the week days while my wifes at work. I also do mechanic work on the side for people. Before, the extra money was going towards my Harley and more tools and such (like I need more, according to the almighty, my wife). Now, its going towards vaping lol.

I also LOVE to tinker and work on my own cars...LOVE being hands on and fixing things.
Here's the YouTube Channel for prolly the most avid rebuilder- he's inspired and taught many:
RiP Trippers - YouTube
After you're up and running rebuilding attys (ProTank can be rebuilt) and DIY juice is prolly your next step. A tinkerer's dream come true and takes the cost of vaping way down....which of course goes into new vape gear

Ok, I'm definitely gonna check this out! Plus, just got my Provari 2.5 in the mail, and I love it! Seems like a bit of a smoother hit than my SVD, prolly because of the 66mhtz chip over the 33 in my SVD. But hey, I'm still learning and looking for experienced input lol.
