I got this new tin mod from my gf and i just had to share it. 2x 18650's and it vapes like a beast! I couldn't imagine any solid high end unit coming close to this. Its variable voltage up to 7.4v and i honestly cant vape it turned all the way up. Its just simply amazing.

I recognize Madvape's VV circuit. The batteries are in series. The circuit has protection built-in. it is a linear egulator, so it's not as efficient as a PWM. The 18650s should get you through a full day though. I like the Newman's tins. I have one I haven't modded yet. Gotta get to that soon!

I dont know what all that means haha. It has lasted me since last night and still going strong. I actually ran out of juice first. I want to make my own tins (The Fabricator...) but i need to learn how to do all the cool electronics. I can def make a super rad tin.

I use the popular e-cig circuits in building homemade mods. Madvape's VV circuit was the first I used. Linear regulators are less effiecient than pulse width modulated circuits. They dissipate power through heat, whereas PWM controllers send microbursts of energy and remain cooler, thus more efficiently. Having a step-son who designs circuits for Texas Instruments isn't a disadvantage, either.

If you're handy with a soldering iron, Madvape's VV circuit is a good starting point to building your own mods. It's very simple and has instructions.

I was told not to stack batteries.

From what I understand:

The only reason to not stack is if they don't discharge at the same rate. Then you will be charging one battery with the other and overcharging and under voltage can occur. Same thing can happen when running 2 batteries in any way. So when using 2 batteries just be sure to use the same two batteries you buy at the same time. Flashlights and many mods use the 'stacked' config just fine. Again, just be safe with the batteries. Don't use some random battery you know nothing about (you had laying around) with a brand new battery.

Of course...I could be talking out my ......this is just from what I understand.

I'd rather not chance it.
