So if anyone remembers (though I doubt it) I was saying how with tax rolling in I'd be getting a new legit pocket friendly mod. so 140$ later, I got me a Vapage VmodXL ith a spare 18650 (sony VCT4 (or whatever it is) and a spare atomizer.

gotta say I love it. so much I'm tempted to toss everything I have.

but a couple questions are in order;

First; Does ANYONE know what kind of battery and the stats are on the Vapage labeled 18650 included? all it says is 118650 IMR 2100 mah. I'd feel safer knowing the amp discharge and anythign else on it before really putting it in service.

Second; Where can I get spare juice bottles for it? are they generic or are they propriatary?

Third; Maintenance. how difficult is it to clean, and how often?

more as they come, I'm new to liquid feeds, and am loving it but want to keep it going good!

I've never seen any amp data on the Vapage Supplied batteries. Amp limit becomes a concern when one is using very low ohm or subohm attys. No premade/stock atty is subohm that I am aware of, so it shouldn't be an issue if you are using Hybrids, Stingrays, HH357's, 306 or 510 attys.

I think the vapage batts are kinda a hybrid, but they are "protected" batts. Really, vaping on a 3.7v mod with stock (not sub ohm) stuff is so safe, then there is always the spring that will collapse should anything weird happen.

I would not worry about it, I"ve used that mod in the past for many many months w/the stock batts and never had a worry.

All vapers should own a multimeter though, if using separate batt mod (not contained batt like ego). I always check my batts coming off the charger, as well as the ohm on the atties, etc. to make sure no shorts, esp. if I've washed them out and going to re-use.

If you want better batteries, RTD has the red AW IMRs. There is very little you will do with a vmod that will require higher drain than what they can supply. :) if using in normal way (not sub ohm vaping)

As far as the newsletters, will do. I'd defintiely liek some 50% off coupons for them hybrid attys!

as far as the battery, the vapage says its a IMR and 2100 mah. I figured its safe since its from a mainstream company and whatnot (and nobody has ever said anythign about them being dangerous) but it never hurts to ask. As far as to what I DO use, I got a Sony VTC4, so I'm pretty set on batterys ^^

I use the kidney puncher 1.5ohm long barrel atomizer with my VMOD. It's a little hot with a fresh battery, so you may prefer the 2.0ohm if you prefer a cooler vape.
They are a little longer than the vapage ones too, so they do stand out of the drip cone a little higher - but only a few mm. Performance is excellent, I would put these up against a Cisco atty to be honest, they give very good vapor and the flavor is untainted and true.
Rotating two atomizers, they have lasted about 3 months before I couldn't clean them back to full performance. They still fire, but the flavor is reduced.

Of course, make sure you do not get the sealed ones. They are around $6 each, so they are much more economical than the Shifu ones from Vapage.

One word though, the bottom connection sometimes does recess into the atomizer body and fails to make a connection. If this happens, you just need to put a thin brad or nail into the hole and gently pry it back out. I've had this happen on a couple of them, but it's really no big deal.
