Have the 18490 and loving it. Want to get a grand but I am confused with the LP. I understand the LP allows you to use other atomizers.

If I get the LP, Can I, or should I use an RM2?
With the LP, what other atomizers can I use that do NOT need to be drilled out?
What are the downsides to an LP vs a regular grand?
Does Reo sell atomizers that I can dual coil?

Thanks.

You can use the same rm2 on it, the normal rm2 is milled at the bottom to fit into the catch cup, the lp version isn't.

I don't know that there are any BF larger atomizers, I may be wrong. Or they're just way out of my price range so I didn't care.

No downsides if you're using rda's. I've heard that the carto's/standard atomizers benefit from the catch cup. But with rdas you have your o ring there anyways so the catch cup doesn't really have a point.

You can run duals on any atomizer. But on the rm2 it is a little different. You put your first coil in normally closer to the bottom of the atty, then you make another the exact same way and place it on top of the other, space a millimeter or two higher. It's totally different than dual coils that we've known before with separate air holes and on opposite sides.

If you pick up an igo-w I think all you have to do is push the 510 pin out, dremel a groove in the side, and dremel a groove in the insulator. I haven't done it YET, but that's what I'd plan to do whenever I do it. I don't know that I'd order a $5 atty off fasttech and actually use it because of the brass posts and not knowing if they're lead brass or not. For $10 more you could just have an igo-w.

Wow. Thanks for the quick replies.

I work outside and in the summer the juice gets thin. I know I need a reducer, does that replace the entire tube now in the Reo, or just added to the existing tube? Also, what is the stuff I need to add to the contacts during the cleaning? Do I get that on Amazon? So many questions from this new Reo guy.

Thanks.

If you have the sub ohm contact I dont think you even use noalox at all. But if you have the older contacts you could get it at home-depot. The SO contact is curled at the end instead of coming to a sharp triangle point.

Reducer goes into the tube itself, I run 80/20 leave my reo in the car all day when I go to work and it doesn't leak without the reducer. My cars interior is black leather too, but I'm in minnesota so maybe it's just not that hot yet. But I haven't experienced any backfeeding.
