Love it! I'm a woodworker here in Michigan and have been modding for a few months. I've been mostly making copper mods with decorative veneers on them but have been planning some carved and turned designs lately. I love the idea of using wood on these things.
I'm wondering how the cedar will hold up to normal everyday wear and tear though. It's a pretty soft wood. I see that most of it is oak and should be fairly tough. I did a Chuck with a curly maple and walnut marquetry piece of a tree veneered on it. I've been using it for a couple weeks to test the durability and finish. It's showing a little bit of wear but I think it's just giving it character.
Here's a couple of pics I just took a couple minutes ago.

Them are beautiful. I was going to put a laurel leaf design on this one but I just got tired of messing with it so I kept it simple.

Mr. Stud, sir. I was just looking at your pics again and I have a question. What did you use as a fastener for the cover? I'm trying to plan out a solid wood juicer and am toying with different ideas for allowing access to the inside. The best I've come up with so far is a hinged cover but I haven't found a small enough latch that's not cheap. I was just wondering what you did on yours.

Stud, Very impressed! I have no skill when it comes to this stuff, I think I got C's in wood shop and electronics class in High School.... Thats why I manage an Accounting Firm! Alway's like that stuff but not any good at it. I can change my own oil though!!!!!!

now all I need is spell checker on this forum and maybe someone will be able to read my post.
