Hey guys, for the last 4 months I have been using a kayfun on my k100 mod, nothing but the kayfun.

before this I was able to use the RDA and the nimbus tank that I brought when I got the mod. before using the kayfun I used to use these on my mod. today I wanted to use my dripper and found that they simply wont screw into the mod, they just don't see to be going in.

what happened here?

Without being able to see both male and female threaded components, I'll have to take an educated guess - that you've managed to damage the threads on the K100... and you're not a mechanically inclined individual.
510 threads are a 7mm X 0.5mm (M7X.5 RH) pitch - where 7mm is the diameter and 0.5mm is the space from one thread to the next.

As the threads are already cut, you only need to repair the damaged threads, with minimal effort required. Locate a "thread chaser" (preferable), or "thread tap" or "bottoming tap" of that size to repair the threads.
A local machine shop can (might?) run a tap through for you - it should take less than a minute to correct the threads.

It's possible that you've damaged the threads on the attys... but far less likely than the K100.

thanks for your response,

I've checked, at it certainly is the mod that is at fault, so a I guess a tap would be needed.

just curious, how will a tap repair this? Since the hole is too small, wouldn't tapping make the whole larger?

I'll head over to the hardware store tomorrow to get this done anyway

did you ever get this fixed? Somewhat of the same thing happened to me and russian and k100. one minute it threads in, next it doesn't, same with my nimbus. Mine was an easy fix since I already had this item: airflow controller that I no longer used on my protanks (don't like those, too airy) It's not big and nice an flat. IMAG0618.jpgIMAG0614.jpg this one is the before pic with adapter...here is after IMAG0617.jpg with my aga-t.
