I started vaping with an ego and a vivi nova that I got from a B&M and over paid for it, but hey it got me into vaping so who cares? After that I found this wonderful website FastTech :p and upgraded to a VAMO and bought some clearos from a different B&M. Shortly after that, I plunged into mechs and rebuildables, and haven't looked back. I love tinkering, building coils, figuring out the best way to wick a coil, it's all a ton of fun to me. I don't plan on buying another regulated device because I really like how mechs like the Nemesis look and at the moment the wattage they can get is unbeatable for the look and size. Anyways this wasn't meant to be a discussion about mechs.
Now the only regulated mod I have sits on a shelf and comes to life solely to check battery voltage and all of the higher nic liquid I bought for the clearos and such that went on top of it sit in a bag and disappear when I convert smokers, when a fellow vaper wants to trade or when somebody needs some liquid. I'm curious how many people this has happened to, most of the people I've converted skipped the step where they buy stuff they later abandon because I was there to say "No you don't want that, you want this." so I haven't really run into anybody else that's gone through the full progression of vaping devices and then settled on what they like the most. What did you progress through? What have you settled on? Why? What's sitting in a closet gathering dust like my VAMO?

I started with an iTaste vv 3.0 with a protank and upgraded to a Magneto with a Russian within a month. I guess it's safe to say I jumped in head first. I'm happy with my setup, but I know for a fact it's not stopping there.
I've gotten to the point where I pretty much have every style of vaping device and the mech and RDA are my favorite at the moment. One RBA may be different than another but not enough for me to buy it right now. I guaranty in time this will change but for now I think I've settled. Mainly I'm stopping though because I've spent too much money. I mean, who doesn't like shiny new toys even if you already have one that's almost the same?
