My Oldest battery...RIP

My oldest Battery died! This was a bribe from Steve to try Vapor King batteries...I was already a fan of the V4L juice. It was the ripe old age of 1 year! It was a platinum with full gold logo's and went so well with the silver Dr. Pepper cartos or the light tan Choco banana cartos. Unlike most old style batteries, this one worked with every type of carto and still made lovely vapor..until today. It needed a charge so I charged it..3 puffs later it was blinking again. Rest in Peace my old friend!
I guess this means I will have to buy another platinum...

Oh Mary Kay! I feel your pain! I lost 2 of my oldest friends last week! I definitely got my moneys worth from them... they went out like they would have wanted, doing what they loved to do - providing me with lovely vapor! They have gone to that big vape fest in the sky!

LOL! Let me tell you that batt was a workhorse! Between the pink full logo passthru that is 14 months old and still going.. and the platinum, they convinced me to keep on vaping, I was at wits end with the 901's!

Marykay The first battery I got went RIP in the driveway I ran over the poor thing,,, It got out of the bag and got ran over before I even got to try it,,, but to say the longest one I still have is the pink w/logo all over it but i think it is on it last charge. I bought 2 of the same but one slip out and I got to try the other one, but the goods news is it will be with it twin soon,,,,,

The image made me lol. Thumbs up on the good posting. I have yet to have one die but I have many and I rotate. I think I have one of the older shorties with the old style cutoff that might be on its way out though. It's yellow so I'm okay with it

I have a couple regular manuals that take an hour to charge, and only last an hour. But when they work, they work
GREAT.

MMCall I think I remember the thread that you posted about your smooshed batt! Mike lost one while he was mowing the lawn in St. Cloud. We walked the 2 1/2 acres I don't know how many times looking for the darn thing!

Macho, I tried a yellow shortie for my banana cartos..yeah..fail! Even I..who am color obsessed was over the yellow with yellow..looks better with a black batt!

Mary Kay, I have my two original batteries that I continue to use lightly (since last Feb! )))) Now if we can the NEW one's to last so well! It will be a sad day when these two bite the dust and go to join your's in "vape heaven'! Dee

Didi, I used it when I vaped Doc pepper. That isn't in my normal rotation but I do add it in once in a while for a week or so. . So it wasn't used daily but certainly often enough to find that batt lead a charmed life!

I had several of my ~1 year old auto batteries die a few weeks ago too. They were the best. I'm actually considering refurbishing them - not for cost but because they were the best of them.

Find an old shoebox and a soft cloth, and head out in the backyard. Be sure to find a spot that the dogs won't dig up. I'll be there in spirit, MK. Poor lil' atty.

Jeff I may do as you suggest..but it will be delayed, I have had too many batts pull a Lazarus on me!
Addy why is it that those old batts..just kept on going? nevermind, My old 68 Camero could have driven rings around these egg shaped plastic pieces of junk out today.
