Picked one up from the classifieds (2 weeks old). Got my 18650's in today, charged them, put a Cisco 1.5LR atty on it (Direct Dripping), and WoWWWWWWWWWWWWW. This thing is rock solid. Very niceeee (c) Borat!

As far as maintenance is concerned, in your opinion, what should I clean/take care of, and when?

Hey guys, I've disassembled the Omega and assembled it back, and ran into a problem. The gap now is bigger than I remember. I've used the dime solution, but I don't think it worked. The Omega fires and all, but looking at this picture and the pictures all over the web, my gap just seems a lot bigger.

To make sure I did everything right (dime fix) I'll let you know what I did.

-Once I set the sliding piece on top of the spring, I took the dime and positioned it between the top cap and the sliding piece; -Now I pressed on the steel part (outside) of the omega between my fingers to close it. It's completely shut and only has the gap of the dime throughout.
-I take my allen wrench and lock the three screws
-When I let go the gap is bigger than the dime gap.

Reading the other posts, my contact might not be pushed all the way down.. will try again :) :)

Edit: No matter what I do, the gap stays the same, .4cm

Ya know he has a point about the bobble head. lol It's just getting the connector to seat in there and tightening one screw and then letting go that had me messed up. After you figure it out then it's a piece of cake. :)

And yeah no one seems to really know what your talking about. You guys need to carry lil bottles of this so we can just buy it from you. :)

Loving the look on Kat's SB. I do believe you all are going to be making quite a bit of money off of us as we want to own one of each

I do see the irony now with my Pujols Bobble Head.. What a strange coincidence..(the Bobble Head is on my desk only reason I grabbed it)..

Thats were I went and they had no clue maybe I will try again tomorrow thanks for checking.

You can pay it for it online and it will be ready for pick up @ customer service.. that's what I did.. All you have to do is select 'Pick Up In Store'. Hope you'll find it. If all else fails, I can send you the small size tube.

looked in our electronics isle as well and they still didn't have it. I hate how as of late if you walk into Lowe's you get tackled by a customer service person. I just want to get in there and look for what I need, not get side tracked 14 times when asked if I need help. Maybe I will try again at some point, or I just may order it from Amazon. lol
