3. My CR seems to have seized up on the collection tank. Best way to loosen?

Hi Clyde,

This has happened to me twice and both times I padded (paper towels, then multiple wrapped electrical tape) two adjustable width large pliers; grabbing the tank carefully with one for support and the control ring with the other. Then gently rotate until the control ring moves freely.

Now, I apply vaseline with a small artist paint brush every time I remove the tank.

If you boil the tank with the CR give a try to unscrew it while its hot Clyde. If it is still stucked then do as Tyke said. If nothing happen with Tyke;s advice try what JTF said. The final solution is to send you new parts but I am sure you will manage to unscrew it. And every time you see CR isnt rolling good then put vaseline inside it
