I was a two pack a day asthmatic for fifteen years. Because of a move I was faced with the choice of going down three flights of stairs for ever cigarette or find alternatives. I had tried to quit before with gum which burned and irritated my mouth and patches that did the same things to my skin. I had tried disposables before but honestly they just did not cut it. I was at a mall and was fiending for a cigarettes and went to a vapor kiosk to try get a disposable. I was met by a well informed Salesmen who after me asking for a disposible was asking if it was a back up. I said no and he let me try an ego and then let me try a vmax. The experience sat in mind for a day until I went to their brick and mortar store and purchase a vmax. For that point i stopped smoking analogs i gave away a whole carton of cigarettes. I have to say it has changed my life. My asthma went from poorly controlled to well controlled in less than two weeks my sense of smell and taste returned and the for the first time since I was a teenager I could actually run. It has been over two months with no relapses and I am now a total advocate for vaping. I do no longer see the point in lighting up a cigarettes if you have a good quality pv and good quality juice that suits your palate. I really just wanted to express my opinion and show my support of this community by adding another success story of a reformed smoker and how it changed my life.

Wow. I'm glad this worked so well for you. It sounds like smoking was seriously degrading your quality of life.

I'm so happy that you found a vendor that was educated and took the time to talk to you and show you bigger and more powerful PVs, instead of trying to rope you into buying disposable after disposable. You're one of the lucky ones. Although, I do hope this is where PV sales are headed.. Even at kiosks.

Congratulations on your success and your newfound health. I wish you many happy days of vaping to come!!

I'm very new to this site, and vaping for that matter. So new that I have yet to hit a high end PV yet...( Have a V2 KGO on the way from Hoosier E-cig :vapor:) Still using disposables, and 5 days in without having a cig after 20+ years of making Philip Morris lots of $. Reading everyone's stories is so inspiring so want to thank everyone and thank goodness for ECF!!!! One question though. Vaping is obviously much better then inhaling nasty tobacco, but it don't seem that anyone is concerned about what the long term use of Vaping will do. The media has written it off as dangerous, but there's no concrete proof either way it seems. Just wondering what some hard core vape heads think about what the long term effects of vape use might be?
