My Patriot whistles?

I just love my Patriot rda. It looks beautiful and hits like crazy. But it has a whistle...not real loud but kinda gets to me.

I have the stock air holes and have tried different tips to see if that made a difference.

It's not a deal breaker for me as I am really happy with this dripper but I am hoping that someone can shed some info on the whistle.

Might be because your wick is too close to the air hole?

Does it whistle The Battle Hymn of the Republic? If not, it's not a true Patriot.

I bumped the wick a bit and turned the top slightly and no more whistle. Now I feel silly for asking.

If it did whistle the Battle Hymn I would have captured that and put it on You Tube.

I just got my Patriot two days ago, my first dripper, and love it! I'm using it on a ProVari so I have to keep my ohms up some. I have run a single micro coil at 2 ohms and it worked great. I have a dual coil set up in it now with 32g at 1.5 ohms and cotton and still great!

I have had no whistling from it at all. Also stock 1/16 holes.
