Was at our local bar game last night (I fleeced em for $300 heh heh.)
I was vaping my Ego-t and half the crowd asked to try it so I bought out both units, one with menthol and one with Oriental juice in and passed them around.
Everyone who tried it was nodding their heads like it was pretty cool and better than they had expected!
One guy said 'man this thing looks the bomb, this is totally pimpin'!' Another said it tasted kinda like the flavored oxygen you bought at those oxgygen bars that popped up in the 90's and he thought it was a cool alternative to smoking!
Also at Xmas, my Dad, a 1 - 2 pad smoker for over 40 years was v impressed. Sadly, I don't see him getting one though due to maintenance and the learning curb re maintenence, cleaning, ordering juices etc which has also been very frustrating for me. I just don;t see him being happy to have to do washes and dries etc when the old burnt taste happens etc, nor use sites liek this for info etc.... Shame. His mate who is also in his 60's and a 1 -2 pad guy was very impressed also and asked me to tell him how he could get his own kit!
I aslo think the ego looks pretty darn 'pimping' too due to the minimal black and silver design, the white led and well, it's kind of unique and quite the conversation starter and makes you feel like you're ahead of the pack (excuse the pun!)
When I pulled mine out at the poker table at the casino I also got a lot of attention. And all the poor smokers had to go smoke near the ashtrays (in Korea poker games are no smoking - why I have no idea as the same casino lets you smoke at all their other table games) whilst I vaped whilst in my seat and playing my hands and the dealers and pit bosses said it was no problem!
