These are great suggestions that I hadn't even thought of trying. Thank you everyone! This helps immensely! I'm just more ...... at myself for pulling such a lame move. I knew better than to eat the soup so soon yet I did it anyway. I so miss being able to taste my PBC....

I had asked a similar question a few days ago, and Nanny22 informed me the only cure is to vape FOOB ACB.... Might have to get Clark on that....

:D

Katy - quick, go whip up some unflavored juice. Save that PBCv2 for after your mouth heals!!

That so sounds like something I would do. I love to make all kinds of soups and the waiting is the hardest part. In fact, I think I'll go whip up some Pasta Fagioli to stick in the crock pot tomorrow.

My new Zotz order was placed today. Can't trust Nick or Josh with the Zotz. Oooooooo....that would hurt with a sore mouth.

Hope all these miracles do their cure overnight.

Me too!!! I make a killer 6 or 8 bean soup with ham and bacon and fresh cornbread and chopped onions. And my broccoli soup is so good I turned a broccoli-hater into a broccoli-lover! :D But he makes me spoon up the bowls of soup before I call him to dinner, so it has a chance to cool a little!!!

YUM, Andria, you had me at "ham and bacon" and then I went over the edge with "cornbread"! I wish you lived close to me, I'm a southern girl and that soup has every kind of right in it!
And Lezlee's Pasta Fagioli is another one I haven't had in way too long. Alas, Michigan winter is coming back and it will be hot soup time soon enough. :(

I think we lived in MI when I first started cooking that bean soup -- it's my go-to when the grocery budget is kinda tight; those dried beans are so cheap, and then just a small amount of meat, the buttermilk for the cornbread, and an onion, and you've got enough soup for 3 or 4 nights' meals -- or two nights' meals and put some in the freezer for a quick meal sometime later.

My grandfather taught me to make cornbread when I was just a little girl, and you know it's really southern cornbread -- it's got buttermilk in it, and made with white cornmeal, not that icky yellow kind. My son actually likes the yellow kind better, so when he's around I also make corn muffins, for him -- I like those for dessert, with honey!

On Sunday, September 7th, I was hungry. So hungry. I had waited over 4 hours to taste the delicious soup I concocted from scratch. The close to searing hot liquid scalded my poor mouth and I was awash with instant regret. And now I sit here, vaping... and not tasting any of my PBC v2. Do I need to just wait for my mouth to heal or are there any quicker remedies?
Silly, silly Katia... I've NEVER EVER made that mistake before! No way! Newbie!!! :D
Okay, yeah, been there done that and AS SURE AS IT SNOWS IN WINTER I will do it again, I feel for ya. :)

Edit: For a fix, salt wash is about the only thing I've ever found that helps. Read "helps" because time is really what does the trick... Horrible, horrible condition that....
