I just started vaping a week ago.I bought a Ego T type b and I bought several flavors.Me being a menthol smoker a bought menthol and I love cigars so I bought a cigar flavor. But the cigar flavor is to sweet and the menthol is to much like vaping medicine. I have read on theses forums that you will never find the taste of a regular cig, you just have to find what works for you. The problem is that can run into money buying and testing out different flavors. So I decided that I will order different flavors and try and make something that I can take to work as a all day vape.

My question is has anyone ran into this problem where if you vape a flavor after a while it gets either a medicine taste to it or it's to sweet? If so is there a certain flavor you found that worked better for you? I hope I can find a recipe for something that will work for me that is strong enough to taste over my black coffee in the morning and will be good all day.

And even though I am a new member I have been reading these forums for two weeks. You guys help me decide to quit smoking.Thank you.

WELCOME TO THE ECF

Finding juices that work for you does take a little bit of time. Which is why it's a good idea to get small samples from various vendors to see which one will be best for you. If your thinking of buying different flavorings and making your own then I highly suggest you visit the DIY E-liquid section of the forum.

Just my suggestions on cigar juices that I think are great (not sweet at all) and wanna get some samples to see if you like them:

Havana Gold

*This one isn't in stock right now but, a LOT of people love this one:http://www.backwoodsbrew.net/index....category_id=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=19

As for menthol.

Has anyone tried any of the recipes for the DIY? I would like to try and make some cigar or pipe tobacco juices, but I dont know what I need to buy based on all the different recipes out there. If anyone has made some and can recommend them to me let me know I really would like to try them.

Oh and I order some Havana Gold and Dk.Now I'll have something to vape will I try to figure out this DIY.

If you just began vaping a week ago, your taste buds are in the early process of change. They will continue to change for a while. Early on, I purchased juices that sounded good, and I loved at the time, that I literally can't stand now. Eventually, you'll gravitate toward certain things. It's one of the beauties of vaping. The possibilities are endless.

Smoke Anywhere for Pennies has a wide assortment of tobacco flavors. I really like Marl-Girl, their Marlboro knock-off. Also like their Cuban Cigar. It might take some searching and DIY, but eventually you'll find the right flavor. I wasn't even looking for a tobacco flavor when I tired a sample of Marl-Girl at Vapefest in September. Now it is my favorite.

Yeah I keep reading where people say they change.I might warm up to the sweeter flavors, but right now for a all day vape the sweet stuff makes me sick.-LOL
Rule62's post above was pretty spot on. Smoking dulls taste and sense of smell, and this changes over time.

Personally, I change it up with flavors. I feel I'm tired of one, I change to another and mix it up. I ordered more this weekend, and since a replacement Visa card finally showed up today, I'll be going nuts at KBV next friday.

I didn't switch with an assumption that I needed to replicate tabbaco flavor. Some do some don't.. Many migrate from it many don't.

Buy small samples of stuff you want to try.. If it works, great, if not trade it on classifieds, or PIF it to the next new guy that's having the same problem.

As long as you're not smoking, it's all good. Beyond that, there's a whole bunch of stuff to explore.

Best, and good luck.
