Hey there guys, so I've tried everything to get my pt2 to wick right and nothing is working. I've taken out the flavor wicks, flipped the rubber gasket etc.. and nothing is working. I've changed heads like 3 times now and it didn't help. Its getting really annoying to have to manually wick it by blowing into it every 3 hits. At first it was fine but now I noticed the little bubble that would come up after each toot to signify a little bit of liquid went into the wick went away. Anyone else going through this or have fixed an issue like tthis?

i just tried replacing the wick and flavor wicks with cotton and seems better right away only time will tell though will post again in a day or so if it doesn't act up

Yes - or just re-wick it all with cotton!

But seriously, if it's not wicking properly, and you've tried those other methods, cotton rewicking may help.

the main thing with a kanger is to let a new coil head saturate with juice for a few minutes before the first vape. When I used a PT I would let a new coil head soak for 15 minutes to let the juice saturate the wick. When I did this had no problems at all. tank after tank after tank of fawless vaping. Don't pull out flavor wicks, this will lead to flooding, unless you are using 100% VG, the one wick removal may be appropriate. The other thing is don't screw it down to tight, leave it just a tad loose, if over tightened, it can bend the coil wire, causing shorts and hot spots. Hope this helps.

There really is a much much simpler solution other than dismantling your protank. There is nothing wrong with the protank !. All you have to do is suck harder, a fair bit harder, and after a few draws and a couple more dry hits it should work perfectly. You just have to suck harder from time to time and that's all.:vapor:

i wish it was that simple but all that does for me is give a bigger bad tasting draw :/

You can try this if you want... I had that problem once and removed the tank from the battery, unscrewed the base and took it off, replaced the base and put it back on the battery. It began working like a champ again. Maybe something to do with built up air pressure?? Don't know for sure but it worked!!!

Never blow into it unless it's OFF the battery and pointed up towards the ceiling with a vapor towel over the end. This is only done when it floods and can help clear it out. I remake all my coils, even the brand new ones. I use 6wraps of 32ga kanthal wire around a 1/16in drill bit and wick it with peaches and cream cotton yarn. I set my battery at about 4volts, working like a champ. Keep fiddling with it, you'll get it.
