Well folks, after a very long time of wonderful use, My V1 Provari met its unfortunate end in a serious car accident. I just received a new one, this time with the blue lights. LOVING IT! Long week without one...whew!
Yeah, I was going to do that. The tube is intact, and the cap threads on fine. The top atty connector portion came off, and all the internals are destroyed. I wonder how much it would be to rebuild?
They have the list on their site, I think electronics is $45, the top $10, but that is a guess. Plus you could have the electronics upgraded to the V2. Look under the warranty section.
this is good to know that repair is even an option! what a wonderful machine...its possible that it doesnt even get totaled in a car wreck. my previous PV, a box mod, would have gotten smashed to smitherines. the tile floor wasnt friendly to the box, nevermind a car wreck. BTW, OP, glad that everyones okay.

Hey Thanks! It was a van with 11 people in it, so I'm grateful no one was injured. As far as the wrecked provari, it's in the box ready for it's repair session...
