My Provari is scheduled to arrive today. I purchased optional 18650 AW IMR bat's with it.

Q- Are these batteries good for only a certain amount of charging cycles?
Q- Does "topping off" a battery on the charger take one full cycle away from the battery life, or will recharging partially depleted batteries extend my battery life?

I have recently fallen in love with the Visions Clearomizers on my Ego- I've had really good luck with these, however I decided to take the plunge and ordered some DCT 6ml tanks with my Provari.

Q- Do these tanks use standard length cartomizers?
Q- How long can I expect cart's to last in these tanks?
Q- Any first time fill recommendations?

1 Yes, as with everything. Nothing lasts forever.
2 My charger wont charge the battery unless its below 3.7 or so. YMMV.

3 6 ml tanks usually use the longer XL cartos.
4 Hmm, thats tough. Most report longer usage with tanks, but that varies with juice and wattage.
5 Make sure its soaked the first time, and then vape it hard!

You need the endcap extension to use the 18650s (I imagine you know this but just wanted to make sure :))

The AW 18650 2000mah batteries are very good batteries and will have a long cycle life because they are lithium cells. They also do not have memory issues and so you will not hurt them if you charge them before they are drained. In fact, you should not drain them fully. When the Provari starts telling you the battery is low, that is about the best time to change it at around 3.4 to 3.6. How long will these batteries last? Cycle life will be around 300 to 500, meaning that they will retain about 80% of their charge capacity after about 300 charges, which is where normal 'service life' is continued to end and when replacement should be considered.

Thanks guys!! NickZac- this was exactly the answer I was looking for... And yes, I got the extended cap. I primed the Smok Cartos, filled the DCT tank to 3/4 full, and fired it up. Holy S--t! This this is like sucking on a freeking nuclear reactor!! AMAZING!!

It's a bit big (more heavy than big), but I can deal with it. I'm going to try to find a flashlight holster to carry it in
FYI.. the first time I tried to fill the tank I took a bath in Tobacco Haze :)
