The kicklet adds way too much length for my liking.

Hadn't thought about that. Just looked at some pics and yes, it does add some length. The Provape-1 is a smallish length isn't it? I'll have a look around - I'm curious now.
ETA: Not sure if I'd want to use a Kicklet with one now - the Provape-1 only takes a 14500 battery.

Not sure about the length of the ProVape 1, also not sure about its suitability for kicking. Do the top and bottom caps come of on the ProVape 1 and can you insert a battery from the switch end?

I just had a look around - some-one who kicked the Provape-1 said it didn't last well before the kick started stuttering. It only takes 14500s. Not sure about the top and bottom caps on it either. Just the bottom cap comes off I think.

Doesn't sound like a good match for the kick to me, thanks for following this up.

I emailed Provape and asked if using the Kicklet would be ok with a Provape-1. The response was they would not have any issues with it. There are AW IMR 14500 batteries. The issue with the kick is making sure the battery is IMR. Even so - I wouldn't kick the Provape-1 for the reasons I already posted.

Bad. I don't like the short vapetime of a Kicked 18500 (2-3 hours), you will surely not like it also on a lower maH 14500.

I totally agree. I was mainly just curious if a Kick installed on the Super T Kicklett attachment would even work on my BB. After further research, I came to the conclusion that the 14500 battery doesn't have what it takes to do variable voltage properly. Besides, as I noted in my previous post, the Kick suppliers only recommend its use with the 18650, 18490 or 18350 batteries.

At the time of the Kicklet's introduction, I had begun bringing my BB with me for short out-and-about trips around town instead of the larger and heftier Provari. I enjoyed the smaller size and lighter weight of the BB, but still missed not having variable voltage. I kept thinking how nice it would be to find a variable voltage mod similar to the BB.

I considered getting a Mini Provari, but at the time I couldn't rationalize another $200 + batteries for a second Provari. I'm not a fan of the eGo's Twists (way too long for my liking), and the L RIder Robust was not getting great reviews. I eventually went to a different form factor and got a Smoktech V.V. Gripper for $50. It is nicely fulfilling all of my requirements, and shares the same 18650 batteries that my Provari uses.

I love mech mods but I almost always use with a kick, you could throw a kick in it that would regulate the output and its only $40.

kick won't fit into a provape, but a kicklet would work ,but i wouldn't do that simply because you only get about 3 hours out of regular set-up,,kicklet would put battery time down to less then 2 hours,if that !!

Just a follow up, I also emailed Super T about kicking a 14500. They said it could be tried, but wondered how long it would power a kick - which is the reason some of us were saying it probably wouldn't really work. They also said they've been told by some that 16340s won't turn on with a kick, but 14500s have a bit more power than those.
