Hey guys so I've been using the mutation x v4 for a month or so and for reason it leaves a pool around the 510 of my rDNA 40... It's not coming from the bottom air flow because it happens when they are plugged or not. Any ideas? Bad o rings?
I've had this happen with many of my tanks/rda's as well... I cant tell if its really leaking out the bottom screw or it just runs down the side of the atty and pools on the 510. My poor Vaporshark began to get pretty gunked up down there, hopefully the same fate doesn't befall my new ipv D2
Usually it's the o-rings to blame in a case like this. One of my Doges was leaking like that, where it'd manage to get UNDER the actual atty, and it wasn't until I swapped the o-rings that the leaking stopped.
Ok when I get home I'll swap them out. I mean I get that it condenses on the side of the side air flow barrel and runs down towards the base but it seems like the o rings aren't doing the job.

Yeah my situation was essentially the juice getting in between the barrel and the deck and managing to squeeze through all the way to the 510-area of the mod. It wouldn't be immediate (like, the juice wouldn't pool up after the first time I dripped on a fresh/dry wick), but after several drippings it'd begin to appear. Sounds like you're experiencing the same thing, and it makes sense since the Doge and Mute have identical barrel/deck designs. Even the o-rings are interchangeable.
Ive had this problem with the mutation x v4, mine still leaked slowly with the rubber stoppers in, not as much but seems like a little bit slips through, dont have this problem with my rda's with no bottom airflow, only with the mutation x v4
