So. I just need some clarification. I thought the leak was a bad O-Ring, but I think it was because I wasn't filling it correctly. It's a top Fill ThunderStorm rta, It was great for the first 2 days, I was filling it from the top no issues.

Today when I filled it, it would start to leak immediately from the bottom near the little screw that you can see from the air hole.

I think I solved this problem now. When I fill, I grab the entire bottom to block any air, then I fill it up, screw in the top cap loosely but enough so it won't leak when I turn it upside down. Let the air bubble travel to the bottom when it is upside down and then release. Doesn't seem to be leaking anymore, could the leak before be from improper filling? so when I screw in the top without turning it upside down it was pushing the liquid?

I'm still new to this, and a leak is so annoying, but now it seems to be good.

A very good assessment, first when you take the top off your breaking vacuum that holds juice in the tank a bit. Then, as you said, your forcing liquid into the wick chamber with the pressure caused by screwing the cap on.

Not much to do about it if that is the problem. Usually a topfill atty has juice flow control or a shutoff or something.

If its doing it all the time then thats a sign of not enough wick in the channels to hold back juice usually or a bad oring.

In the case of bad, pinched, missing orings the tank will usually drain out. Not just a little and stop.
