I was looking around my Photobucket account and found a pic of the original 801 Reo I used to have. Damn I was stupid to sell this beauty.

I have seven of the Original Wood REO's. Happily open my home when they popped up in the classys or from personal sales. I really do love them and I do use them. They are a piece of art and I enjoy having them in my little collection.

In the land of no hills and red dirt
Know exactly where you're coming from Skyycamel.

Wait....I know you from one of the other forums, don't I? GG, perhaps?

And I did have quite a few of the originals, but I didn't sell them, I donated them to get people off of analogs. Sterno being one of the first. I'm still trying to decide if I was generous or stupid. I'm wondering who has the original box mod, code named clyde2(801).

Quite a collection of first gens, Nerak! I think you even have more than I did.

The only consideration is that NO ONE has THIS one other than Rob, so old it doesn't even have an on/off switch. I sent it in for a minor quibble. Fortunately he a) kept it, and b) talked me into exchanging it for the original broken (501) Reo prototype.

It's completely pristine, and is now officially the collectors piece-nay, relic-that it deserves to be.

Being a Grand fanatic (VVG and OMG) I had forgotten how gorgeous his wood mods are.
