Hello :) this week I hit the 1 year mark for quitting dip/spit tobacco (not snus). In August it will be a year with out the smokes. Last week my husband suggested I get an apv. Which was kind of a relief, because I've been going through equipment in a bad way. The problem is I don't know which one. Never have seen so much as a box mod in person. Been on here for a while, and have read a lot about them. The provape1 is about the only one I really want. Thought about getting spinners or twists, but I really don't think they will cut it. I could up my nicotine again and probably be fine, but I don't want to. Can I please get some input? If you've used spinners/twists how are those in comparison to fixed eGos? If you have a box or tube mod....how's battery life?

I would recommend the Innokin itaste MVP. It's a VV box mod, 510/ego connection and the battery will last a good 2 days (and I'm a heavy vaper). It can be used as a passthrough, can even charge your cellphone. It is small, fits nicely in the hand, and is solidly built without being too heavy. It's small enough to fit in a shirt or cargo pant pocket with attached device. It's fallen off the desk a few times and is still going strong.

Most others will chime in with Provari, Vamo, Zmax. I would say, keep it as simple and as small as you're comfortable with.

Variable Voltage gives a much better vape than a standard ego batteries, and juice does taste better once you get the perfect combination for you of ohms and voltage.

The new Innokin itaste VV 3 is ego-like in size, but also does variable wattage, but is only 800 mAh (can be used as a passthru).

I've used my MVP for the past 2 months without issue, and have been very happy with it's performance over my ego devices.

Oh, and congratulations! :toast:

Wahoo a year! Id go for a VAMO or or a fastech SVD the 37$ and change one if you go the mod route. You can get a cheapo and then if like it (Im sure you will) You can upgrade to a better mod. A provape1 Is just a unregulated battery mod. 2 and 2.5 are VV. Battery life is kind of subjective depends on what size 18350, 18500, 0r 18650. Also haow much you vape and what resistance.

I classify my self as a heave vapor and 1 18650 will last me a day with a 2.3 Ohm cartomizer. At 4.5 voltage setting.

Oh this is a very embarrassing thing to admit. I drain through 900 mah eGos every few hours maybe get 3-4 hours out of a 1100 mah. Go through anywhere from 4.5-8 mL of juice a day. What about that juice box thing?

WOW you are my Hero! :toast: A box mod like the MVP has more room for battery so yes it will give you more battery life. There are also box mods that accept 2 18650 battery. AW 18650 are 2000mah and 18650 Panasonic CGR button tops are 2250 mah So with a tube mod you could leave the house and carry 1 spare battery and have no worries of making it threw the day
Im sure a MVP freshly charged would last you at least a day also you can Vape the MVP like a pass threw while its charging.

The MVP has a 2600 mAh built-in battery. Lasts a good 2 days, even cranked up close to 5 volts. Charge using a wall-adapter (USB cord is provided but not a usb wall adapter), and it'll charge in less than 8 hours. I usually charge it overnight, every night. Unlike ego batteries, this one lasts longer and doesn't need to be drained dry to recharge. And you can use it as a passthru so if you're at the computer, you can charge it and still use it.

only $55 with free, fast shipping using the provided coupon code:

I like the blue. Also comes in black or silver :) The blue is more gray.

Dont let the math stuff and OHMS law intimidate you http://www.evcigarettes.com/product...vaping-power-voltage-resistance-ohm-chart.jpg

Here is a chart to get you started its really just a reference. If all else fails start low and work your way up. When you get your mod find a youtube tutorial on it and you dont even have to read the instructions.

Congrats. Any of the above set ups is a big step up. You'll be happy. Delivery device is just as important. I like my pro tank and am about to start trying RBA's. It's been a whole year. Maybe you should treat yourself to a Provari. You just don't hear Provari owners complaining about them. I've had my Vamo for over a month and am very happy with it. Got it from fasttech.

Im wondering what I should get my self for my 2 year;-)

Whatever the heck you want. I am making myself wait until Christmas for my next mod (in theory). So I am keeping an eye out for just the right one until then. I have resisted box mods thus far...but maybe I need to give one of those a try next. Or maybe a mechanical. Or maybe (etc.)

Restraint to me means 2 maybe 3or 4 mods attys ect per month. I think we are from different schools of thought on when and how much to buy;-)

I don't have any advanced equipment but from what I've read on here, if I ever decide to get something it will probably be the MVP version 3. It would have to be the version 3 because it is variable watt which could be something good for you since you seem averse to ohm's law. If I am correct, with variable watt switching from one delivery device to another isn't and issue since it will adjust for you (but you may want a different watt for each flavor).

Even though I can see the advantages of some other stuff, their is just something I like about that.

In theory this is true but in real life there's not much difference between VV and VW you still have to set it to get the best vape when you change resistance of your delivery system of choice.
You really dont have to know the math just start low and work your way up till its doing what you like.

Thanks for that :) Nikola Tesla was awesome, and when I heard I could buy an cig of the same name! Then I looked at it and it resembles something I can't look at without laughing. BTW buzz: you ever try one of these?
