I saw this video on the tube, were RiP Trippers is building a Tricro Coil and I thought, I've got to try this. Since I didn't have a 28 gauge Kanthal, I build a twisted wire out of 3 pieces of 32 gauge Kanthal and utilized it instead. The finished coil ended up to be 1.3 Ohm, with a cotton wick. I used my latest new equipment, a Nemesis clone w/ a Evolv Kick 2 (received today) and my Trident rda.

I turned the Kick 2 to it's max. It still took a little time to really heat up the coil, though. However, the vape was excellent and flavorful. I was vaping my WaterFelons by Fuzion Vapor, which is on the sweeter side.

I can't wait to put the rda on my Hana mod DNA30 clone, that's on it's way! :vapor:

You might want to try ohming a build a .8-1.0 ohm and getting rid of the kick because you wont need it running a Nemesis with a IMR 18650 Sony or AW batt..

I've had good results re-coiling Kanger Protanks, but I'm having trouble making my Aspire Nautilus single coil re-wicks maintain wick saturation. I haven't really discovered how to interface the cotton wick with the fabric tube in the head. I put a couple of drops on the wick and tube when I install the coil and it blows clouds for a few hits and then dries out. The cotton is sitting in the slots and appears to be making good contact, but won't keep up at 7 watts.

As far as I know, I'm matching what Riptripper is doing in his SC video with the Nautilus and I've tried loose fit cotton and cotton that I have to work to insert.

With the build and configuration mentioned above, I'm getting easily 1 draw per drop. Therefore, depending on my urge, I'm dripping 10 - 15 drops and I get the same amount of (mouth to lung) draws.

Since it was my first coil with a cotton wick, I wasn't sure how much cotton I'd have to use. Somewhere, I read, use half of the amount you think, you'll need. Sure enough, it was perfect.
