If it were a Rulien "Authentic" and e-cloud vapes were lying, then why does it say "Made in USA" on the bottom when Rulien is clearly in China? Why does the mod in the picture they put up missing a piece? Why was it on preorder through today when E-Cloud has been selling them since August 27th? Why are there serial numbers pictured that have already been sold by E-Cloud if the ones at Vaportek and in the pictures at Vaportek are "authentic." Too many things don't add up for what you believe to be actually true, VapingTurtle.

I have no doubt that it is authentic. I believe that there is only one maker of that mod and it is not a copy or clone of any other mod. It is an Authentic Original Design.

Oh wait.... I know who you are VapingTurtle. Just dawned on me. I didn't know B&M employees were allowed to post in the normal areas of the forum, much less call their competition liars. But it makes sense now.

I have no doubt that it is authentic. I believe that there is only one maker of that mod and it is not a copy or clone of any other mod. It is an Authentic Original Design.

I am not an employee of, nor associated with any vendor, B&M or internet. I am unemployed. I am currently a kind of retired househusband. I used to help with GotVapes' contest thread, but was never employed by them or any other vape business. You have me confused with someone else I guess.

1. Printing "Made in" means absolutely nothing to the Chinese.
2. Maybe they wanted to show the venting holes in the button. Maybe they f'ed up. The switch wouldn't work at all with no insulator. Ya figure Vaportek, and whoever else gets them in, sells a mod with no button?
3. Maybe E-Cloud was the first to order, and so they got them in first. And if they got them in first and were the only ones to have them at that time, the mod was exclusive to them (by definition).
4. Serial numbers... I'll take a guess that the pictures came from the distributor (Rulien). Vaportekusa were selling a pre-order, i.e., sight-unseen. Tough to take your own pictures if ya ain't got it.

It all adds up. But, it doesn't matter. You bought a nice mod. Not my style, but nice. Enjoy it. Safely. I doubt you bought it as an investment item; you bought it to use it. Enjoy it.

I just don't like to see E-Clouds making claims of limited availability and made in Georgia, USA, when everyone knows that nobody actually producing a mod in a US machine shop would hide. As far as E-Clouds' pricing, well it's what the market will bear in a free market economy. If they were without competition when they sold it to you, then your choice was pay their price or go without it. Now they have competition.

Again still doesn't fly. Why would any company, including a chinese company, made an original authentic mod, but then print Made in USA on it. Sorry, none of what you say actually "adds up" in any sense whatsoever. But I will happily enjoy using my mod. It, along with my Fuhattan are my favorites.

Well if you go to the Supplier's Forum and find the thread there, E-Cloud's already posted Rulien saying their's is a clone. So as far as I'm concerned that part of the discussion is over. Like it or not, Vaportek's is a clone from RulienTech. E-Cloud has the authentic. Still don't understand your attitude on the subject, VapingTurtle. But at this point, I no longer care. So have a nice one! Maybe you can find another thread to troll.

And trying to spin your way out by changing it from they were lying to me, to that you were just doubting them and trying to put the onus on them just makes you look like even more of a forum troll. From your very first post on this topic you've been negative towards it without ever saying why. They don't have to answer where the product is made or who made it beyond that it was made in the US. They went beyond, in my opinion, by contacting RulienTech and getting a screen capture of Rulien admitting they were cloning the mod. But yet you keep pushing. Which makes me believe you do, indeed, have an agenda against them or the mod. Either way I'm out at this point. I'm satisfied with my purchase and I'm satisfied that the VaporTek/RulienTech versions are clones. If you aren't, that's your problem, not mine.

I haven't changed anything. I doubt that it is made anywhere but China. And if you are correct, and I assume you are, E-Clouds has tried to pass it off as made in the USA.

The "Why" is that I think they have misrepresented their product. From my very first post I have just asked where and by whom it was made.

Notice how RulienTech didn't need to ask what product E-Cloud was questioning. I'll assume that was already understood because they worked together on the initial design.

And when asked directly in what country the product was made, a vendor with integrity would give a straight answer. Instead, E-Clouds has replied with accusations of defamation and threats of legal action.

And you should be. I have not dissed the mod. I have not dissed your purchase. I have stated that, considering availability at the time, you paid a fair market price. And I have stated that it appears to be a nice mod. And that is all that matters as far as you are concerned.

BigDaddy, unless you are part of the E-Clouds business, which I'm sure you're not, the only concern you should have is whether they lied to you about the source when they said it was made in Georgia.

E-Clouds will not directly say that it was made in GA, will not directly say that it was not made in China, will not directly say that it was not designed in collaboration with Rulien. They only reply by saying their legal counsel advises them not to talk. Pfffttt!

Note that the A&D mod appears to be a copy of a mod that Rulien and others were already distributing (the Anubis mod) in all mechanical aspects, with newly designed etching.

I'm not questioning either of those things. I believe they were made to his specifications with his design etched on a mod made in China.

He refuses to state publicly where they were made, but allegedly told BigDaddyQ that they were made in Georgia. I believe that is a lie. His design includes "Made in U .S .A", which I believe is also a lie, as well as misprint. I think he totally lacks integrity as a vendor.

He could publicly state that they are his design, produced for him by a Chinese manufacturer, or he could provide any proof whatsoever that they are in fact made in the USA. He does neither. He just accuses me of libel to distract the issue.

Or, considering you have no proof of your allegations, you could admit you are wrong and stand down. The onus of proving E-Cloud is lying, as you say they are, is on you. You've provided not one shred of evidence that they are. Unless you have no understanding of the concept of Innocent until proven Guilty. All you've done is cook up a pretty lame conspiracy theory. I have never seen a mod for sale that was made in the US that didn't state so in their description of the product on their web site...

For instance---

The Atlas by Tatroe Mods. Machined and assembled in the USA.

I've told you multiple times I was told by Joel as well as the staff that they are made in the USA. The day it released the owner actually drove three hours from Greenville, SC to where they were being made in GA to pick up the first batch personally. Why is it whenever someone is telling you something you don't want to hear, they are the ones being "stubborn?" Look Turtle, you obviously have ulterior motives in this otherwise you wouldn't have posted in the first place. Don't know for sure whether your a vendor or an employee or whatever, but quite frankly the discussion is long over. Why are you being so stubborn over something you apparently have no interest in buying yourself? My guess is your either a vendor/employee with something to gain by blasting another shop's product, OR you are the average internet troll with far too much time on your hands. Otherwise you wouldn't be pushing so hard to show up what is obviously a good mod. And at this point I'm out of the conversation. I won't reply again because you are wasting my time.

I'm not a vendor or an employee. No connection to any vendors beyond the GotVapes game helper that I told you about earlier. Just a whatever. I'm a customer of many vendors, but a one-time only customer of the shady ones. (Well... sometimes a two-time only. Sometimes I'm fooled, like you.)
