OK, it looks like my order is lost by USPS. From what I can see they delivered it to someone else at a different address in Illinois rather than Texas?

When did you place your order?

NORTHBROOK, IL 60062 is sometimes the 1st stop along the way... I have had it show up a few times... just part of the tracking ... and I live in NJ. It is probably enroute. You should worry when the status says: Delivered and you do not have it.

V4Ls post office is in Northbrook.

After being picked up, that is its first stop.

You are good to go.

Yes...usually the post office is good...When i was selling stuff online a couple years back I had a lady that kept asking me where her package was...so I looked up her tracking information to find out that it was delivered..I said "mam, it was delivered to ......... address" She said " YOU SENT IT TO THE WRONG ADDRESS!!!!!!! WTF...THATS MY OLD ADDRESS!!!" I SAID, " well did you ever update your paypal address when you moved?" ...and of coarse she didnt lol....so she tried to fight it through paypal and get her shipping money refunded but still get the product...and well..needless to say...he lost LOL...it was kind of funny that she tried to blame it on me...Its not my fault that the post office delivered it to your old address because you were too lazy to update your information...And it wasnt even like she had moved 3 years prior...she had moved with the month... its not like she could have forgotten that she moved recently


anyway...hope you get your stuff!!! and if you move...make sure you check your prefilled in addresses with other companies

OK, thats what i was wondering. I feel a bit better now. It was ordered on the 21st. I usually get my orders within 3 working days.

If it makes you feel any better, I ordered mine on the same day and I haven't gotten mine yet either. So it's probably USPS just doing their thing and not updating. It'll be there. This has happened to me before and I got my stuff.

My order seems to be running about two days later than usual as well. It still tracks alright. USPS must be slackin.

USPS is in deep doodoo money wise. Probably cutting hours like they do at my job this time of year. And vacations and back to school stuff,etc.

I often get my order before it updates on the V4l or the USPS site. I once had my new batt and carto in hand when I checked USPS, they said it was in Lake Mary..40 miles north of me!

Mine was picked up today and is now in ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL LOL

Yeah, my most recent order was in my hand, and USPS.com said its last activity was still the Northbrook IL sorting facility

Well, the number we use to track is a Delivery confirmation and not an actual tracking number. From what I've been told by USPS, a tracking number will track it all the way to it's destination and a Delivery Confirmation will confirm delivery and may leave some tracking info along the way.

Tracking info does show up on delivery confirmation most of the time but isn't guaranteed to show up by USPS. I've had orders show up while my tracking still says it's in IL several times.

The 21st was a Sat. so it probably shipped on Monday night so Weds to Fri seems about right.

Well I know I also made this comment on another thread.

But I live in Northbrook 60062, in fact I can walk there from my house.

My order was shipped on Monday, and still I dont have my stuff, normally I get it the very next day since it does not have to go anywhere but on the truck.

Even my trakcing number that I was given is no where to be found in USPS according to them.

I know V4L is on the case though.

Couldn't you just do local pickup and skip the shipping altogether? (that would rock) If I lived there, they'd probably have to tell me to stop coming by. "ah crap, bp's here again... turn off the lights and be really quiet, maybe he'll think we're out to lunch!"

Beleive me, I really wish I could, in fact just being there for a pickup would probubly make me buy more stuff, but alas, as I already asked, I was given a polite no. They are not really set up for that.

If that one day changes, beleive me, I will not be shipping anymore!!

OMG.

Mark you are AWSOME!!! thank you so much for taking care of me and the extra's you gave me.

Listen family, I know that we all get upset about shipping and other small items that pop up from time to time, but I just had the experience that confirms my loyalty to V4L.

My package and tracking nummber went poof!! No where to be found, I waited and waited and nothing. I asked for some help, and not only did Mark himself call me, but invited me over to the shop to pick up my order and to get a tour. I was suprised to find out that there shop is 2 minutes from my house (and no I will not be revealing where they are).

Not only did they have my order waiting for me, I also got a sample of the new USA juice and a pack of the new coolcarts sampler packs that actually have a larger air hole on the battery end for better air.

What else can I say, but I am still in awe of this experience, I even got to meet the package filling crew. (The blond was cute too) So again thank you MARK and crew!!!

It is customer service like this, that just makes you say wow!!

Now to sample all the goodies and post my thoughts

USPS has several processing "hubs" each package is checked in and out of these locations enroute. Also...sometimes, shippers (the company that you buy from) will assign a tracking number before the package even gets picked up from their location. Please keep this in mind when tracking info does not show up for a day or two after they say the item is shipped. How do I know these things...I was a shipping proffessional in my former life before retirement. lol

Most of this happens with large companies shipping thousands of small packages in a short time. V4L has always been very prompt in shipping times. So I do not think that the above would apply to them. But keep it in mind if you order small items (books, electronics, etc) from LARGE online retailers. That this is always the norm. These items will take weeks to get to you even if the place you bought it from is accross the street. lol (ie..blu..)
