I've had it just a few days short of a month and it's died!? OMG! I'm distraught!!! It seemed to be not producing as much vapor as I thought it had been, but figured it was batteries. Recharged, and nothing! I sent in a email through the site; hopefully, someone will be in touch soon! Thank god I have my Buzz Pro or I'd be in line @ Quick Check for a pack of cigarettes!!!

I don't see a ticket from you. What batteries and atomizer are you using?

Using the stock batteries it came with and using 2.0 boge cartomizers; used a IKV 510 LR Cannon V2 1.8Ω once or twice; I'm new to vaping and not really into dripping yet, so been sticking with cartomizers.

One more thing to try real quick. It is possible that one of the cartomizers had a center post that was a bit longer than spec, and it could have pushed the center post down a bit far. Take a small flat blade screwdriver and lightly pry up on the attomizer connection center post on the SB. Don't worry about breaking anything, it is not working now anyway :) Let me know

Chad,

Leaving the office now, will try when I get home and report back. I'll try not to worry about breaking anything  more than it is already.

Thanks Chad!

LOL, I did reply to your ticket this afternoon :). Guess I did not put the two together until you ended with your name. I can give you call this evening as well if we can't figure something out via typing on the tickets or via here. Either way I will take care of you :)

OMG!! HOW CAN THIS BE???? IMPOSSIBLE I SAY!!!! YOU BLASPHEMER!!! THE END IS NEAR!!! :D

Might also want to check that the spring is making contact with the battery.
I have a battery with an excessive amount of wrapping. Now and then, I have to re-center the spring in the base so that it makes good contact with the negative side of the battery.

Chad,

It worked!! Oh thank you, so much!!! :w00t: What a state of panic I was in!

Couple of questions, I had been using an 801 cartomizer with an adapter; would this have been the culprit or could it have happened using a 510 cartomizer as well and should I just stick to 510 connections or can you (anyone) recommend a good/reliable adapter?

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

The adapter would be suspect number one ::)

Same thing happened to me with a 510/808 adapter. The center post of the adapter protruded out too far and pushed the center pole down. The next time I tried to use a regular 510 carto, it wouldn't fire and I had to lift the post back up.

I'm not sure if your adapter is built the same, but the solution for me was to give the center post of the adapter (on the 510 side) a turn or two with a small screwdriver to make it more flush with the adapter body. Now, it doesn't depress the center pole of the PV's 510 connection every time I attach it.

Don't bother getting another adapter. There's not that much difference from one to another. If you post gets pushed in, just pull it back out. It's not hurting anything and once you get the hang of it, it takes about 3 seconds. Take the battery out or make darn sure you don't hit the button while your doing it though. I use a stiff plastic stick instead of a screwdriver. A piece of bamboo skewer works good too.

Having said that, it is possible that a 510 carto could have done it as well. They aren't all exactly the same and, now and then, you'll get one with a "too-long" center post. Nothing to worry about. Just pull the post back up on your SB and vape on.
