Hi all. My first post. My name's Marc.

I've been (am) a smoker for about 20years; my wife hates it, so I mentioned to her that I'd need a substitute for a while to get off them; other attempts at quitting were pretty bad. I mentioned I wanted to get into e-cigarettes, having seen them down in the States (I'm in Vancouver, BC), but my bare research on the subject was that Health Canada banned them, and I thought, that was that.

So my special other went to Europe (specifically Poland) for a week to visit family. When she came back, she came back with a fancy box containing

E-Papieros 150mm (I assume that's Polish for e-cig lol)
Poltiko is the brand
Website is e-papierosy, e-papieros, epapieros, eliquidy, kartrid¿e, cygara, fajki, tytonie, zapalniczki, akcesoria dla palaczy

It's fancy and big. Came with 2 long batteries (I assume automatic), two atomizers (fancy and designed metal), a box of preloaded cartridges (marlboro types, low, med, high), two bottles of e-liquid (coffee: high, and marl:high) charger, and some blank cartridges/mouthpieces.

Instructions were only in Polish. My wife found them very confusing.

So I've been doing my research. A lot. Found out a lot, esp. about e-cigs in Canada. Am about to pull the trigger on ordering the Bloog set, since it appeals most to me (good vapor, good size, etc); disapointed about nicotine in e-liquid options officially, but discovering I have options.

But... I still don't know that much about this nice set that my wife paid a crazy 180 zlotny for!

Some questions I hope people can answer
- anyone know of any English instructions for this set?
- is this system listed above compatible with any of the more common systems (ie, can I use the poltiko 150mm batteries with other atomizers)
- I still have no clue as to how many drops of e-liquid I can fill the blank carts with
- I like the bloog because it's closer to a proper cigarette look; this one however looks like something out of a 1940s movie, which ain't too bad, but:

Instead of the Bloog, what are the best recommendations for a truly stealth (as in looks like like a normal cigarette) e-cig that offers the best options for a heavy smoker looking to quit but still enjoy the activity of "smoking"?

Much thanks, and glad to be here

Marc

Welcome to ECF Marc! I'm new as well and my knowledge is limited. I haven't heard of the Bloog model but it looks like some of the other items out on the market. When I initially looked at ecigs I went with the idea that I wanted something that looked and held like a real cigarette. I quickly realized I wasn't getting the performance I desired and ended up getting an eGo-T setup. It's not cigarette looking but it provides all I'm looking for as far as performance goes. If anything, I'll toss out there to consider getting something like that so you have a lot of options available for finding what you like. Using tanks, atomizers, cartomizers, etc.

Hi Steven - thanks for the reply!

Re Bloog; I spent a few evenings this week perusing a LOT of youtube reviews for various e-cigs, and the Bloog MaxFusion seemed to be a favoured choice by many; with that said, I've also been looking at the eGo system as well because it seems to fit my goal of quitting the 20th century bad habit.

I'm a little old now to be going to clubs, etc, but one of my pure joys is my morning smokes with the paper and coffee, and my evening smokes watching the sun going down from our deck, after dinner. Sounds insane to most (but probably not to those in this forum), but if I can as closely mimic those activities with an e-cig, I think I can quit this time around.

The one your wife got you is an eGoT. I don't know how much liquid fills the tanks but I'm sure someone who uses them will drop in and help you out. I was never a tank user. I tried it once and didn't care for it but there are loads of folks that really like them. However, the batteries are 510 threaded which means anything you see that is 510 will fit on your batteries. The only stuff you don't want to buy is high voltage 510 atomizers or cartomizers.

As for stealthy, I recommend a Joye 510 kit. Small but the battery life stinks. I've heard some decent things about Bloog, Volt, and many others. Click on forum suppliers at the top of this page for trustworthy vendors and see what all is offered before jumping in and getting another kit....and read the forum. You'll find plenty of threads on just about anything and everything out there.

Welcome to ECF and your wife did you a wonderful thing...she helped out and bought you a great kit (at least the batteries are excellent).

Here is a photo of the setup and some additional info. Sorry for the poor quality of the photo. There's a cigarette there too to show a comparison size.

The technical info in the manual

Model # RN4072
Wattage DC 3.6v
Size 155.5mm x 11.5mm
Weight 24g

Does this help identify?

Oddly enough I have the tanks and never use them. Once I discovered cartomizers I haven't looked back. I use the tanks on rare occasion but they don't definitely mask the flavor of juices in my opinion. It was day and night once I hooked a LR carto on the battery. I think the tanks hold about 1ml or 1.2ml of juice though.

Hi Marc and welcome to the forums! I'm not sure what the model is that you've got...sorry. About the Bloog, it is a great starter unit! You might be interested to know that it is pretty much identical to the Volt which is available through a Canadian vendor, Best Vapour.

Good luck in your journey! When you get to 5 posts, you'll be able to participate in the other forums on ECF. Come visit us on the Canada forum!

You've come to the right place to get all your e-cig questions answered.

I'm not sure what type of e-cig your wife picked up for you. Have you charged up a battery and tried it at all yet? Since it came with pre-filled cartridges, all you need to do is charge battery, attach atomizer, and then attach cartridge. There's not really anything else the instructions could tell you. When you empty a cartridge, drop a few drops of e-liquid into emptied cartridge (just enough to make the filling appear mushy) and re-attach to an atomizer. By now, you've probably already figured all of this out though.

As suggested before, you'll be wanting to post a couple more times (and wait an hour for site to update your count) and then ask fellow Canadians (in the Canadian sub-section here) for information regarding where they get their nicotine supplies.

Welcome to ECF! :)

Wow - thank so much everyone for the welcome. I thought - hrm, Friday night late, post my intro / questions, and maybe if I'm lucky an answer or two by Sunday... boy was I wrong. Fantastic folks here.

I'll try to get a better photo of the kit my wife bought (yes, I am very lucky in many ways when it comes to her) and follow the suggestions about posting to the Polish forum when I can.

Thanks again!

Marc

There is nothing wrong with a setup you take when you leave the house and a setup you use when you are at home . The ego is versitile easy to find atomizers or cartos for and later you can order the ego booster from happyvapor.com if you desire to try Variable Voltage . The bloog has had good reviews so you might also enjoy that as well . I only use tanks on a VV system but that is my preference . I like mega size atomizers and cartos for capacity and ego 1000mah batteries for the same reason . At home it is a provari , at work an ego and for a night out the boge Leo . So with any of these options you can't exactly go wrong it depends on your needs as well . When you get your 5 non spamming posts or replies wait an hour then come over to the Canadian forum and say hi :)

I used google translate on the site and found your set up, the only ones that sell for 180Z are rn4072 dse801 pen style, same basic Ecig. Go to the upper right corner on this page and use the search ecf with google search box, comes back with over 8000 hits on dse 801.

:vapor::vapor::vapor:

Edit, Here are two forums on them DSE 801, RN4072.

Hey, you have a penstyle. I think the RN4072 model is compatible with the 801 series, the best known penstyle - but I'm not sure. It has a good rep anyway.

This model is not compatible with the 510. It is a 3-piece system with an atomizer and cartridge. It has a comparatively high resistance atty which means the vapor is on the cool side. That works well for fruit flavors but is not so good for others.

The people in the Polish forum here will certainly help you out, if you want to know exactly what the docs say, but to be honest there is not going to be much in there of any use to you as you probably won't be re-ordering from Poland.

To get new parts you could try searching for suppliers of the 801, then asking them if the RN4072 is interchangeable. Or ask one of the penstyle experts here like Tribalmasters. Or go to the Wiki (link is on main forum index page), there might be some info in there about your penstyle. Or go to the model-specific forums here.

You ask about a smaller, cigarette-size model. Please read our InfoPages (top left link on the forum navbar) - there is a lot of info there for you. Those small models look OK and will work for you for about a month. After that you'll most likely get tired of the fact they don't produce a lot of vapor and the battery life sucks.

However if you are a two or three smokes a day guy, they could well suit you. Hard to say without trying :)

You need to read our InfoPages though, it tells you just about everything you need to know at the start.

Roly is absolutely correct - the manual will probably be useless even if you do translate it as to be honest they are bad sometimes in chenglish (chinese/English) so i'm guessing chinese/polish will result in pretty much the same problem after a bit of swift googling i managed to find a user manual for the RN4072 some things may be a little different as different vendors have different kits but anyway here you go http://ecigarettecigar.com/RN4072UserManual.pdf

And welcome to ECF

Again, thank you so much for all the amazing information and the welcome. Warlordxxx - you found the manual for this e-cig my wife brought back from Poland - it's the same exact format, except in English :) Thank you for that.

Fellow Canadians, can't wait to get into the Canadian forum, especially since I have a few questions, especially for folks in Vancouver and BC.

I bit the bullet and ordered a Bloog PPC Kit, in the smallest size (270mha battery) along with a bunch of blanks. Also ordered samples of e-juice from a few different vendors in Canada; this week should be a good exploratory week for my efforts to quit smoking for good.

Really glad this resource exists.

Best,

Marc
