I've only been vaping since Dec. 1 so I have a lot to learn. But a week ago I decided to try steeping. I've got about 30 bottles of juice and some of it is pretty nasty. I have a Crest ultrasonic cleaner so I decided to go that route. Since then I've read "don't heat your juice" and other references that ultrasonic cleaners don't do much.

So I started by vacuum sealing the bottles, 5 bottles to a bag. My cleaner can be set to go 99 minutes per cycle, but apparently the ultrasonic action heats up the water. I learned that after 50 minutes the water goes from room temp to 115F. I didn't want to go higher because I read on here nicotine breaks down at 120F. Anyway, I did multiple cycles on all bottles. Now for the tricky part....did it do any good? We'll for starters it didn't seem to hurt anything. But a couple of things stand out for me:

1). Absolute Pin from Five Pawns. I didn't like this juice when I first got it. The Gambit was 100 times better. However, after "steeping" the Absolute Pin is luscious. Huge change.

2). Smokin Cherries from Ahlusion. Same experience as above. I'm dripping it as I write this and it is very good.

As far as the other bottles are concerned, it's hard to say. I don't have enough experience plus I've acquired many new drippers and atomizers that I didn't have before. Overall, I consider it a success!

When I started vaping, like most new vapers I chose a tobacco flavor. Went through the flavors, didn't really care for any of them but settled one the one I could live with best, a Black n Mild rendition. It was ok, but it didn't really float my boat. Kept the cravings down, so it was good enough. Got it on a Saturday.

Then came Thursday.

That particular juice takes about four days to "develop" into it's full flavor, changes color and becomes fuller. At that point, it achieves it's transformation into liquid crack. It's my go-to juice, hands down, and even though I make my own juices now, I still pay 25 bucks for that B&M to whip me up a 50ml bottle every now and then.

Tobacco, coffee, and other extracted flavors really shine after some steeping.
